I need Help Badly!!!

I have been trying to Install a mod for a while now the colonial and the cylon mods, but none of them are working i did what it said by just coppying the files in the ship folder,but it didn't work I have done everything I could think of could someone give me a step by step guide of how to apply mods and give me ways to create new directories for the mods to be loaded from cause I was told that they won't load from default

Slow down there. So these are the omega ship packs right? Did you copy the contents of inside the folder into mydocuments/mygames/galciv2/ships? Are you usig the right ship style? DID YOU INSTALL THE OMEGA MOD? Do you have collecters edition? Do you have version 1.11? or version 1.2?

I have version 1.2 Not the collectors omega mod no I don't know what that is I will look for it and yes I put it in the ships folder

YOU NEED COLLECTERS AND OMEGA MOD. omega is in library and collecters is underdownloads.
