I've searched around but it seems I can't find formulas updated to ToA. I want to know how income (at least planetary) is calculated, and moral too. Influence is less important but heck, if you know it then pleasee tell me that too :)

A few days ago I changed my Motherboard and my Hard Disk, and naturally reinstalled windows from scratch, yada-yada. Anyway, I just tried to install and play Galactic Civilizations II and while I was able to install everything and even update the game through Stardock Central the game doesn't work. WHen trying to play I get the following message: "The Product appears to be validated but the serial numer or the machine SID don't match" I did enter the game's serial numbe

In my games (tough) the Drengin usually conquer the galaxy... They engage in a war and WIN IT. Then repeat with another AI.

My problem, which is most probably my own doing, is that I'm a munchkin. I think it's the best way to describe it, yes... I didn't play too many games yet (newly bought) but I already see that just like in MOO2 I'm going to research everything possible before attacking. The problem is that even with all the technologies, it takes a huge amount of time to conquer the galaxy. So eventually I give up and go for either alliance or tech victory... Now if during the gam

You don't get the question - farms increase the population cap (regardless of PQ) and more citizens pay more money. Economic buildings cause each citizen to generate more money. I think events should continue to lead you toward evil, while choosing alignment as good should simply have more benefits then choosing evil. I'd also make it impossible to choose good if you're too far down the path of evil (and vise versa). And last, have moral choices continue throughout the game, but after choosing an alignment you are forced to choose the one that fit your alignment. This way good and evil will balance each other in an interesting way.

I tried again, and it crushed again. Maybe I should just conquer them all, but it'll take forever in a huge galaxy Anyway, as far as bug reports go - no good...

I never managed to steal technologies by espionage, am I doing anything wrong? Also, the manual claim that there is also Destabilization - where?

Heh, this thread is quite amusing... Anyway, not being native English speaker I'm afraid I did not notice the bad spelling and grammar. BUT, I really do think it needs to be fixed. I think most of the points why it should be fixed were mentioned, so I'll just arrange them nicely here: 1) It gives better impression. Little things like that do count; they show that Stardock cares about making the best product they can. Right now they do indeed appear sloppy. People here keep s
