A nice option would be to create teams and have more depth in diplomatic relations.

I have searched my game in options and new game menu but i cannot find the option to give more CPU to IA. i run the 1.11 version of the game, as far as i know still the latest version. i saw a stardock guy say it was already in this version however i haven't found it. can anybody plz tell me were to find it and what exactly does it do, yea it gives the IA more time to calculate things but exactly what does get better with that option. but most omportant were is the option <im

you can let your factory work at 100%, set the slider at 100%. if you put everything at 33% than your factory's will only work at 33% there capacity, same goes with research and with buildings up your planets. its not possible in this game (kinda strange but good for strat) to have all your factory's and researchlabs work at 100% at the same time even though your economy might be big enough (i think they done this to prevent human players to get ahead to much on the IA cause we

i agree with that, i also play zoomed out. what annoyes me most is that a fleet of 2 really tiny ships looks the same as 1 big bad battleship or a whole fleet of battleships. it would be cool if i can change the icon of it or make a small number on the icon telling me there power or something.

as people said you need to research it first. however, with the next update, ships will fire back no matter if they are destroyed in one shot. so even if you are 10 vs 1x10 (shoot those ships one by one) those one ships will return fire and damage your ship, so even though they are not in a fleet you will be damaged or even lose the battle if you are not stronger.

you know what is bothering me about borders, in a medium map with a huge ammount op habitable planets you get the next problem: so you colonize a planet that is the most away that you can, do the same with a planet on the other side of your reach, now you have a really big border already and the computer cannot colonize the planets inside your border, wich means that those planets are your for the taken. same can happen that you cannot habitize the planets in the IA's border. <b

yea its useless, as p22 says those ships will be in fleets with the other designs who do not have the +1 speed. either make this building increase the speed for all planets or make this thing available early on in the game and make it cheap. also speed is very important in combat, my ships are usually fast. so if i encounter a strong fleet i flee with my weaker once and attack with my stronger once to minimize losses.

my 2 cents on your post. i believe 1.2 and 1.3 will come out before the expension pack, 1.2 and 1.3 are for free but will see improvements on IA, battles and i believe UI to (not sure) (1.2 will feature those things already, not sure what 1.3 will bring.) so i think they are doing exactly as you said. second, i believe its not easy or maybe even impossible to make a IA just like a human. i've been playing C&C generals and counterstrike (with bot) in the las

i'm looking forward to 1.2 release one small thing bugs me a bit, when i'm at the end of a level and taking over planets is the only thing left for me, well taking over 1 planet takes allot of clicking. i mean when i get the planet it takes me to a tech screen that i have stolen, than what tech i want to research now, the planet list and a few more. not sure what could be done about

I imagine that a lot of your suggestions might already be possible once the multiplayer function is introduced. I guess we will have to wait and see what's available after 1.2 GC2 won't have a multiplayer and likely never get it i thought? but it would be great to have those options included (they are just single player options)

real time strategy sometimes needs fast reaction. like you an lose a battle for not reacting fast enough cause the game just keeps running. this game, every player (computer or human doesn't matter) will have its own turn, during your turn nobody else will do a thing. so you can take your time to see whats going on, think of a strategy, see some stats, talk to the IA, negotiate a bit, manage your planets and than hit the turn button. than the IA will play its turns. everybody has its own way, i explore with my coloships. i just make a 5 speed koloship (i am yor) and colonize everything i can find. than i make the fastes constructor possible (speed 4 i believe) and make the income starbases. the next type of ships that i will make are fighters when somebody gets wary/hostile with me while they have a decent ammount of militairy.
