With the new ToA update today (1.95.023) Impulse detect the update correcty and so ToA. SDCentral still ask me to update DA and doesn't seem to recognize the ToA update (stated at 1.91.021).

Got my TA CD today (it took so long...) I posted in another thread that i'm at least a bit upset. As other customers I thought that I would receive a box and got a CD in a slipcase in an envelope and I'm really glad that the cd is intact because an envelope like that can't prevent any damage. I paid 20$ for this, but I knew that before. The price for shipping from Stardock is doubled in the last year if someone ask, i don't know why but for that package it's a bit too much. <br/
We don't have any plans to do that that I'm aware of. If you want "official" discs, your best option would be to purchase GC2 Gold and TA separately.
And be aware that you won't get the game in a box for TA but a simple cd in a paper envelope, so probably it won't be worth the effort.

Well Stardock is great in DD as I always say. But sucks pretty bad at retail and shipping. From last year the shipping cost is doubled (10$->20$) and in europe we have pay the Euro-Dollar-revert-change (well it's known as VAT that simply delete the good change we have against dollar, but that's not your fault). At least usually I got a good package that's its however not worthy the huge but make me happy a bit (however an option to cumulate cd version and sen

I just tried impulse and I have to say that it look good. First step to gain land against steam and others. Well it need more work and polishing but I think it will be better in the future. Impulse detect my games without problems. Well not ToA, as stated in other thread. Don't know why. I also updated GalCiv2:DA from Impulse (1.80g.103). Then the problem: if I open SDCentral (I keep using it because at the moment Impulse is not better in all the way) it tell me to

Just let me say that I'm glad to hear that. I was not too interested in Demigod because until now there wasn't too much information about it. But knowing that Stardock will be behind this make me hope for the best. Also Demigod could be the first of Stardock related games with a potentially wider target of customers, so this is indeed an intresting news. Cheers!

For the comment about the box, it's just a comment. I dont pretend nothing, just giving an opinion. Don't call things "gold edition" when they can't match the quality the name is referred to. About the Coupon Well my post was 21st of March, reply on 30 April and I had to up the post once. The fact I don't understand is why ruin the box of my game and have to send the code via UPC mail (additional cost to send nothing but a code) when it can be done by e-mail, or other things tha

I bought a boxed copy of GalCiv2 Gold Edition. I have to say that the boxed edition is poor. Good looking box but the inside is really cheap. The game is on a jewel case, I expected at least a dvd box like is used nowadays and the box is oversized compared to the cd case (so cd and manual are shaken everywhere). However I wanted to use the rebate ticket because I'm a GalCiv2 Dread Lords user. I read the instruction on the coupon: I have to send via mail (doesn't other ways exist?) the go
