Yes, what you say is true for not having multiplayer, however like many playing Gal Civ 2, it'd be nice to challange our selves by battling agaist other pro players of the game. I for one would definetly pay 49.99 for an expansion pack that only has the updates to make the current games multiplayer. I don't understand why ppl just don't copy and paste, their saved games into a diff folder, then uninstall game, then install it again, then u have a fresh copy without the bugged update, then just copy and pase ur saved games, and play. Just don't update again till it's fixed.

Yes, the first time I played a Gigantic map with 9 races in DA, I had Dread Lords show up, and they kept messeging me, that they are taking advantage of the foolishness of the (forgot race name look like humans), even though they are my allies lol. What is this bug you guys are talking about? I have ver 1.5 of gold edition, playing either DL or DA, I don't run into fog of war or saving issues, and I always play the biggest map available, Gigantic I think it's called... So whats this problem? -EDIT- I forgot to mention, I agree with one of posters above, there should be map bigger than Gigantic, I think it's not enough with 9 races playing!! Please give us even bigger map next update perhaps!?

Hi, I heard about this game and people say its awsome, so I think I'll get it. But I get bored of strategy games quick unless they got online play. I heard in a review somewhere that this game is lacking online play, in the description though it says in Metaverse it's possible to play with friends or agaist them. So since you guys have played I can confirm, can I play online with this game? Like on Battle.net with Warcraft 3? Or is Metaverse just a ranking system? Thanks
