Congratulations on the release of Baby 3.0!

One last thing that has been gnawing at me for some time now. When editing a civilization's attributes, the changes appear permanent, and even erase previous attributes instead of adding on to them. For example, when I tried increasing the loyalty of the Yor by +10, it eliminated the innate loyalty bonus of the Yor. It remains this way and I have been unable to reverse this unwanted effect or effectively reset the changes I've made. Feedback?
I'm looking forward to this release. GalCiv II has the potential for a vibrant modding community that'll infuse the game with new life. Another thing that I'd like to see are enhanced diplomatic negotiations. As of now, there really isn't much to do as far as agreements go. Alliances are just so... binding. Some examples are mutual defense pacts, non-aggression pacts, sharing intelligence, etcetera. Lastly, I've found it virtually impossible to persuade a rival civilization to give one of its pl

I heard nothing but good words about GalCiv before I bought it, and the thing that really sealed the deal for me was the respect Stardock has for their customers. Not only is GalCiv free of copy-protection/drive hassles, but the shipped product is not considered finished! It is continually upgraded, made better, and the community is shown what changes occur and the progress Stardock makes through its frequent news. The community has truly received Stardock's dedication and support, and fo
Congratulations for... for what? Being female and a game designer? One should be newsworthy for their skills and accomplishments, not their gender. The article was purely about being a woman in the game industry, which honestly isn't that remarkable. Guys are rarely nurses, does that make them worthy of being interviewed? No. People should be praised solely for their success as an individual, not for defying traditional gender roles.
