Helo, Two suggestions for you that I find helped me out a lot: -Build a "Mk 2" version of the colony ship. Throw on only one colony module, and as many engines as you can. Do this before you even hit the turn button the first time. Then churn these babies out...they'll be faster than the AI's colony ships usually Or atleast -as- fast. I must say, despite the two CTD's I've had in the week I've been playing, I'm having a lot of fun with this game. I mean, I usually avoid strategy games, and I'm having fun with this one. It's got a nice depth to it that seems lacking these days in games, which is pretty ironic considering Stardock had, what...10 guys working on this? I would take the opportunity to kick back and grab a tech victory while having the other races kill eachother where possible Like a previous poster said...have a major race fight a minor race, give the minor race a few ships, maybe a planet...you get the idea. Once that's going and you solve your money issues, reinforce your borders with some influence
