Multiplayer? Do not want.
I've played the game out in both SP and MP, and though MP can be fun, i don't think it's the same as SP. If Gearbox said we are doing away with MP, i could care less. Actually i'd rather prefer that i think, at least then Gearbox would have no need to use Steamworks with BD2.
Get your drivers at the computer maker's website.... not from a third party.
This cannot be stressed enough! If you post your needs in this thread, there are plenty of us here willing to help. It's not too steep of a learning curve, updating your drivers for the first time, but it's something you will be happy to become familiar with. :)
Like you say, better in MP, but with mods it can be quite good, if you don't abuse them. (which i do sometimes). The DLC's brought alot to the single player experience i thought.
Tell someone that if they go into a shop and ask them anything about drivers and have them look at, know that when you walk away, they will be laughing at you. I don't mean that to be nasty, but there is no need to take the Pc to a shop or worry about the safety of updating. I'm worried that you have perhaps never updated them before!!! As Pacov said, Video Card drivers are perhaps your most important ones to ensure they are updated. The rest, well if your runni
I wish i never did. I've had more fun with GC2 these past couple of months than i ever did prior. I only regret the community is not as it was whilst i am wallowing in my new found joy.
I was thinking about the minors. Are they modded minors?
Just under 400K with just two ships??? Wow, makes our old mumblers with thousands of ships not really worth all that effort. Great game mate! I'm still waiting on Impulse to sort out my TA reg info....i don't like being the slave to two masters, you would thinkg i'm either a SD customer or a Gamestop customer but somehow i have been split in two and distributed to my masters... I cannot wait to give Impulse the single finger salute..hurry up SD with the new S

The exploit was, that the AI attempted to destroy your freighters, but couldn't do it, because the Privateer prevented it. Instead of changing the target, the AI ships kept going after the freighter, trying to
But seriously, what class aspect didn't you like?
The use of them at all! It took the focus away from what, for me at least Simcity was always about, city building. I didn't want or need to have to play a social structure sim. I want to build, not manage social inequalities. Maybe it's just me, but that's what i hated about it. Cities XL follows the same path, which is why i still have 3000 Unlimited instal
Can Metro be nerfed in such a way that all you have on it is the Desktop tile, yet still use and retain all windows functionality from the Desktop? (that includes bringing back things like, taskbar, notification area and start menu.) If the above can indeed be done, then i guess it wouldn't be so bad. There a few features in there that look quite handy. The new file copy dialogue and the ability to mount from explorer will be highlights i'm sure. I "could" live

What exploit did this create in TA? I never delved into TA much. :)
This doesn't surprise me. I have hated everything about Win8 that i have read and seen. They have just got Win7 working fine, why screw around with a new direction that, to me, always looked liked it was going to be a PITA to navigate around. But, that being said, iv'e no intention of ever using it. I'm more than happy with Win7 and will stay with it till after WIn9 is released, at the minimum...
Simcity 4 sucked, and so does Cities..IMHO anyway. I hate the class aspect, and i hope 5 does away with it, i still play simcity 3000!
I don't knwo about being an arse, but he gave all but one a good look at his as he blew by!
By the looks of it, they made plenty of parts from scratch! I'm sure they must have had their hands on aoriginal to get measurements, or plans or something! What a mammoth undertaking! In either case, this indeed would not have been cheap!
A very quick and easy way to do this yourself would be as follows. Two things to note, First, if your using the Ultimate Edition from Steam, i'm not exactly sure of the instal paths, since i have the game from release, so its perhaps different. I'll post my install path and if it's different i'm sure it would give you an idea at least where to go. Second, when you find this file, back it up and keep it safe if you ever want to play on the Metaverse, or s

Thanks Mina!!! I'll let support handle it for now, but if they keep dropping the ball i'll do this! [e digicons]k2[/e] As for getting the ball rolling, i was daydreaming the other day and thought it might be interesting to see if we can get one character from every active MV player into one empire. We could create a new empire just for these active characters, i don't think all of us, and by that i mean all the active peeps from Sororitas/Kzin/Tyranny...etc, etc
