Wouldn't touch IE with a 10 foot pole... however, newer versions should be relatively more secure than the holy browser you have now. Try Firefox. Works better than commercial browsers. While we're on the subject, why are you using a commercial browser in the first place? It's not like these companies contribute to a stronger internet. Pay for art and entertainment--like Galactic Civilizations 2. Don't pay for a browser.

Maybe you perceive people as rude when the real problem is that you're illiterate.

Problem with updating was solved by not using the automatic update window.

All of you are a bunch of frakkin tards. Every single dude with a comment on how men are better than women has displayed linguistic incompetence to go with their gross ignorance. Do everybody a favor, stfu because I don't want you amateur sociopolitical philosophers representing my nuts. Cari, great job. There _is_ discrimination in this world. Don't feel like you have to talk it down because of these bozos. Girls need you because democracy depends on every brain cell we can get.

Considering the Stardock made The Political Machine, the political system of Galactic Civilizations 2 is... inexcusable. There's no real difference between the systems of government and the penalties, as you point out, are absurd.

100% agreement on the wormhole consequences. They suck. It would be better if the flagship was the only self-sufficient unit in the game. The developers write "who knows what you'll find" like it's a good thing to catch a wormhole. A better response should be "ha-ha. U r teh sux. You can't use your ship for the next 80 turns. Sucker."

Trade menu. Upgrade your government to democracy or federation. It's easy after that.

But alas! It was not the end... An Altarian child suddenly screamed, "OMFG! Ponies!!!" Terran sharpshooters executed Rule 303 riddled the ponies with ammunition. A victory against terrorists.

Multiplayer hotseat would require two options: 1) independent ship design to settle design issues before the game 2) option to share player designed ships dated _prior_ to the first turn. Or design while you wait. The ship designer alone usually takes as long as a turn without the ship designer. With all the improvements to it since 1.0, it's as fun as the game itself.

The Confederation had an unlikely hero--Bruce Willis... he was visiting his wife at the opening of the Nakatomi Plaza Galactic Stock Exchange. As he exited the smoldering building, he told the grateful Torians, Drengi and Japanese investors his trademark, "Yippie-kai-yay, motherfscka." They were completely confused, thinking their universal translators broke.

Slow up? How about "die already." Perhaps you meant "slow down." Either way, you're a tard.

returning to GalCiv2, how would the boundaries of sectors be determined? Taking my best guess... I'd say sector boundaries would be determined by the sector boundaries. Dork. There are already sector related issues in the game like starbase limitations.
