Hi. I'm running GalCiv 2 Ultimate edition, and noticing this graphical problem. The text in the context area (control panel, where all the info is presented at the bottom of the screen) flickers and is garbled, and when i mouse-over the 6 screen buttons at the bottom, they leave permanent tool-tip info boxes. Also, when switching between various screens, chucks of text gets left over. Basically it makes the game un-playable. I'm playing this on a Lenovo Thin
Simaril, did you ever get this resolved? I have the identical problem. I am running the game on a T400 Lenovo Thinkpad, with the Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family on-board graphics. I beleive my driver edition is 6.14.10.4957 (dated 6/11/2008). I can't seem to update it, because this is a company laptop, and it's giving me some kind of registration error. Anyways, was simply updating the driver the cure? Anything else one could try?
