i merged it into all races tech trees, its better because it needs to be researched as apposed to getting it on start up.

i instead tested my theory by adding other techs to the list and still no luck, plus as i said it used to work during the beta's.
during the beta i would give all races the spore module ability by simply adding SporeWeapons to all races default techs via RaceConfig.xml, now with the official release it doesn't work, i think its because the game checks if the default techs belong to the tech type group. i hope i explained my problem well enough, anyone know of a work around? or if stardock will change this in a patch?

I myself have put the game down for a couple of weeks now, and reverted back to SimCity4 just to get a break Same here, i love SimCity4 i find it more additictive than Gal Civ II, Age of Empires III or Civ IV!

It seems stardock cares for it's customers! and no offence stardock not being one of the main developers, it would be more understandable if you didn't care and that you where out to make money and money only. But this is not the case of course you want to make money (who doesn't!) but you care for the customers and potential customers and are always supportive to your customers! STARDOCK ROCKS!

I think you could add a carrier as a module to increase fire power and defense to the ability of the ship with the carrier module. You called also have a tech branch for carriers. They would make the ship look cool aswell....the module could look like the carrier part of the prometheus of Stargate - SG1!
