You schould take a look at http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=304 Drop me a PM there. The coming 1.1 will be available for German, too. At the moment there is no officall translation, but it will come.

Don't forget your swapfile has to be about 1-2gb, this may consume additional space.
A reboot should solve the problem.
It's no official solution, simply an idea to test if it works better for you. Open your PlanetImprovements.xml with any texteditor. You can find tags like this: [S_UpgradeTarget]Banking Center[/S_UpgradeTarget] Remove these tags by deleting them (make a backup of this file!) or adding behind them [!-- [S_UpgradeTarget>Banking Center[/S_UpgradeTarget] --] after you did this, these techs don't become obsolete. ATTENTION: I don't know how t
The German 1.10[b3].p.14 you get through stardoc central is buggy. It is buggy because the b3.014 contains the translation of the b2. All new fields, new entries and so on aren't in the data-directory. I don't know if your problem has to to with this, but it's no "real" b3-version and the savegame contains all the xml-file-content, so it might be related. The paradox b3-0.14-thread can be found on http://forum.paradoxplaza.co
try setting your desktop-color to 32bit
A new button in the diplomatic window when entering numbers called "max" would be nice. This button should behave like this: You open the dialog and want to get some money for your techs, you have to try sliding the bar until the text goes red, then lower the number and the text gets green. You always have to do this again. This would be easier by pressing "max" and automatically entering the "correct" number.
Hi, I just got the idea of beeing a pirate, nothing huge, but I thought of this. When you destroy a tradevessel (one of these transporters following the tradelines) you cancel this tradeline. What about another option? [Tradevessel] You encountered a alien tradevessel, what do you want to do? [Destroy] [Board] When boarding the ship, you would receive some bc, depending on the income of this route

Hi, I only wanted to drop some lines on the cutszenes. I like them They give the game an additional depth, e.g. when building the first middle-class-ship it's great you have attached weight to such events. A little well done animation is much nicer than a simple popupdialog. But it looks like you don't like the Arceans, or why are their concratilations shippied tog
At the top of the forum you can find a https://forums.galciv2.com/?cmd=MyPosts leading to your posts, if your post isn't listed there, it never arrived the server.
There is a Prefs.ini in your My Documents\userid\My Games\GalCiv2 - directory
He posted it on http://pastebin.com/641614 http://pastebin.com/641617 we already tried to change the game to window-mode, have checked the size of english.str and screen.str and the two fonts, also tried to rename the my games\galcvi2-folder. No change.
You are searching for a collectionpost? https://forums.galciv2.com/?ForumID=162&AID=111112 Oh and the tape is only for posts on the translation, because stardock has NOTHING to do with them (except from uploading them to their server).
Stardock does not force you, because Stardock does not force you to use beta-patches. You can download all final-patches using the homepage. Beta-patches change more often, so you have to make shure it's the latest version, and for analysing this, you need a executable, shure this could also be a batchfile or a perlscript, but this time it's a binary.

Hi, we were talking about the startingpositions in the chatroom, and we got some ideas: a) well-balanced startingareas It would be nice if there would be a new internal check for the mapgeneration, something like "every player must have 2 Stars and 50 planetpoints in a range of 20 parsec" these numbers are only examples. Doing this, the new games would be more well-balanced. b) a complete new optio
Hi, this is a little collection of problems and some hints how to handle these problems. There are several posts containing these informations, I tried to collect them in one thread, so it would be easier to get them. NOTE: Stardock is the developer of the game, all problems regarding the translation are task of the publisher Paradox ( http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=304 ) I bought the Ge

The 1.1b2-patch contains the german files of 1.1b,. so several changes like resea

@Doom, you can read? Yes I can, but it seems you cannot, because if you'd followed my link, you'd noticed a post on providing the german translation. And things like "tickt ihr noch richtig" ARE rude.
The betapatches are only available by using stardockcentral, so I'm afraid there won't be any link...
