Frogboy? You are saying Paradox is the adress to note this, but they say: Please note that Paradox is only the publisher of the game. For Tech support or bug reports you should contact the Developer of the game. The Bug reporting forum can be found HERE (http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?t=234646) and are linking this bug-board.
Regarding the changes of 1.0X (like beeing able to enter the number for money in the trademenue) the German version isn't 1.0X. A patch will break the game, so this musn't be done, but there might appear bugs listet as "fixed" in the board.

You are not the only one, I would say everyone having bought the game in Germany (German speeking release) has this problem. Frogboy already posted the patch 1.1 will be for all versions, so at least this update (the beta is announced for sunday, but I personnaly thing it will delay a little bit because of these problems) will bring your game on the actual version. Hi Frogboy, sorry, but it doesn't look like this, because (without patching) the debug-err says: Debug Message: Version v1.0 last updated on: Sat Feb 4 16:26:34 2006 after the patch, the version has changed. Is there a line or a file I could take a look on in order to see if it is "old" or "new"?
@Markus: This problem isn't related to the display-drivers, there are huge problems with the German release, the patch on the homepage is, as far as the reports in the board direct, only for the English/US-version of the game. I get the same crash after patching with my German version, the English one runs fine. btw. die Debuglog (a LITTLE more than the extract above) doesn't give any hint of whats going wrong, but I don't whant to

Same problem for me, I installed the german version and after patching the application simply crashes. I'm VERY disappointed aout this situation, more than this if taking a look on a patch 1.1 for the English version being in development when other languages are still on 1.0....
