Hello there! I have some ideas on expanding the diplomatic model in Galactic Civilizations II: 1.) Tech Trading. You should be able to have more options with Tech Trading, but specifically I think you should able to sell them to someone on the condition that they don't sell them to anyone else. Make it cost more, whatever. It irks me when I am the only one in the galaxy with Large Hulls, and decide to give them to my ally who is in dire need

I'd love to see a more complex planetary invasion system implemented. Siege, Multi-Turn Invasions, a more complex and reasonable soldier/casualty system, ect.
