nm last post, found the problem (for my situation at least)...something to do with VB scripting or other.
I ran into minor problems with my mcafee antivirus; it kept labeling the exe as a suspicious script, and tried to block its launch. Interestingly enough, when I try to click the "ignore" option, it pops right back up again...the only way to bypass it is to click the "allow to run this one time" option...not a big deal really, and more, I think, to do with mcafee's built-in paranioa than anything else. I'm at work, so I can't remember the exact script
This may have already been answered, but is there a way to practice with the ship designer outside of an actual campaign? I've just picked up the game and have literally only played for about 2 hours, but I'm dying to try my hand at ship-designing. Thx.
