If you start off as good race you can always get away with mostly picking neutral and a few evil choices i ussually never pick a good choice unless it has zero consequence and the rest are too weak to be worth it.
TriPp
I just find 4v2 easier than 2v4.
I find being good easier...but i think im in the minority there.
You could buy them both right now in a bundle at a cheaper price than if u bought them both seperatly.
Thats why theres a option to turn them off. Some people like the random events, even if some are difficult.
Yeah i dont mean to say otherwise, but if theres no chance of overcoming it then it isnt just difficult its unplayable. I actually do play with mega-events on kuz i havnt had the chance to run into much ofem at all. I didnt think they were game breakers though just sumthin to really mix everything up.
Are you sure it's not just the specific events you got? Different events affect your alignment by different amounts; it could be that the evil choices you made were really heavily alignment-affecting, and the good ones you made later were less important.
Is there anyplace that would tell me the values of each event? Shtuff like that should be in the wiki.
You should be able to tell your ships range by a square like grey line on the map.
I doubt the cd itself is a fake but once you have the serial you have the game regardless of cds. So the cds dont mean anything really with this game.
This is bs, im turning megaevents off! I dont agree with a random event making a game you couldve been playing for 12+ hours completely unplayable...absurd indeed.
So it is a good way to pump up the habitable planet count on smaller maps.
Indeed, and the planets are niice to boot.
Who would publish a game without multiplayer in 2007?
Why should the year have anything to do with a game feature like multiplayer, some games just simply arent multiplayer i dont understand whats so hard to understand about that. This game would simply be nothing like it is if it was multi-player, its just the type of game it is. Its not a simple fps, damn.
Woah, what happened to the Iconians?
Still being worked on. Read Frogboy's post.
10x tourism revenue sounds pretty sweet...continue soon!
I belive thier homeworlds are created from a previous class 0 planet not an existing habitable one.
Weather Control needs one simple change to be perfect: It needs to (as is says it's supposed to in the tech description) improve planets that have already been colonized. If it adds extra tiles to existing colonies, it suddenly becomes a hugely useful tech, no matter when in the game you research it, or what size map you are playing on.
Makes perfect sense. I wouldnt want it any other way.
In the story the iconians were destroyed by the yor and they only recently(perhaps more recently than humans) came back to make a presence in the galaxy. Thats why i think they might be so gimped but its still much to weak in comparison to the rest... **EdiT** Also i hope thier super ability gets better(maybe add another type of extreme) 'cause as it is isnt there atleast 2 other races that basically have half that super ability ontop of alot more bonuses?
I know once i get TA(after the betas) i would love an option to still allow regular tech trading but not allowing unique techs from being traded also. So two trade options! -Disable Tech Trading -Disable Unique Tech Trading
Yeah, this is a very reasonable question and why flame to noones benefit? *sigh
Well this explains it. I somehow ordered the gold edition instead. Time to contact sales
Ouch. Thats a kick in the nuts.
That is what a rabbit would say! lol
Lol. Perhaps. I would expect any kind of life to think that way though(and im sure they do), we live to give life(reproduce), that is the most important thing any living thing can do. I certainly dont mean thats all life should be, individual happiness is just as important(as without it the individual wouldnt be very successful) and thats where everything gets complicated i think. Everyone has thier own boats they gotta float
Sounds neat, i dono about being able to hit other planets though. It could be a great improvment for planetary defence, perhaps if you had several planets with this improvment built in the same sector they could boost each others defences in a missle defence grid sort of way. (just dislike the thought of a missle travelling across a galaxy and hitting its target)Jus my thoughts.
Ah! I knew i forgot something. Thx for reminding me. That really needs to be fixed much to easy to abuse.
Jus throwin this out there but i always felt the meaning of life was to just simply live...and reproduce.
Also, with the way approval and population growth works, you would be a fool to keep your average approval rate at anything but 100%, 41%, or 21% depending on if you want your population to grow fast, grow at a normal rate, or not grow. Either adjust the tax rate to make not much money but grow twice as fast, make a crap load of money and grow at an average amount, or make even more money and cease population growth.
What about governments like Star Democracy? Wouldnt bei
Maybe the race who surrenderd would also giv up his technology and treasury to the lucky fella? Jus a thought.
