What a badly titled thread. It really sounds so juvenile and arrogant, like a sad cry for attention. Sure it's flawed, but it's certainly not a scandal. It has already been addressed in other threads. If you don't like it, don't use it. It certainly doesn't affect my enjoyment of the game.

Nowadays, with games requring 3 or 4 CDs (I wish retailers would universally accept DVDs but that's a different issue), keeping CDs around to play is annoying. I agree, especially since DVD players have been cheaper than new games for a long time. So why did you put GC2 on 2 CDs instead of 1 DVD?

I know a lot of girls who play the Sims, and RPGs, but none who play wargames. I've known a few girls who play chess. When I use to play Pimpwars I had a couple of girls on my team, but even that was a bit unusual since there were very few girls who played that game.

Precursor10, I strongly disagree with your first point. That is the same as cheating, and it's a cheat I wouldn't like to see in the game. Point 8, has been neutered since in the next patch they're removing the attack adavantage. They won't need to make the AI better at attacking; they will make it a tougher punching bag. I wouldn't even look at UFO:AM/UFO:AS. Both recieved bad reviews, and even worse were infected with Starforce.

The 3rd one isn't that great, but the first two work well. Why is it a low, or cheese tactic? The Air Force AWACS planes are Boeing 767s. Why bother using a warship hull for something when a cargo will work just as well? Do you use cargo hulls, or warship hulls for your military transports?

We are all trying to win the game somehow, but the AI players aren't. Yes, but they should be trying to win.

It doesn't stop a person from resetting the galaxy; it just makes it take longer. Frogboy and other developers have said that crtl+N isn't a cheat. My solution would be to make sure the races are spread out more evenly rather than completely random. No one, human or AI should have to start in a corner surrounder by 3 other races.

Brad did say that they did make sacrifices in the AI to make it quicker. Personally I would prefer the AI was better than quicker. Even a slower AI would probably be a lot quicker than a human player.
