Have you tried playing it in full screen mode at the same resolution as your desktop? Not really. Besides, I like to be able to switch out of the application without having to quit. It's why windowed mode exists. (Yes, I know you can switch out of the application while in full-screen via alt-tab, but your computer will run slower than molasses

Update: Turning off the the reset utility seems to have solved the problem of the crash. I did notice that the game still has pauses sometimes where the graphics card stops responding. Is it possible to not have the window scroll back to the top every time we go to view a planet/ship via these two means? It's rather annoying when wanting to easily access all your planets in your civ to have to constantly scroll down to get to the next planet. This is a bug I found, but I have no clue how to reproduce it. So my civilization is cranking along at the bottom of the power ranking (mainly because I haven't really developed any significant military, preferring to work on everything else first, I'm playing with AI's at sub-normal since I'm fairly new to the game and at least at that level the AI's aren't exploiting my weak military. I have massive amounts of research compared to all of t
