Nice stance on it, the problem the gent prior had was his metaverse account being killed and no thank you/apology from moderation staff. Ah well, just a game. I hope to have my first meta game up sometime tomorrow or later this week. I can't bring myself to play for score like that, props to youfor the diligence and mechanical awareness that it takes DoJ.

Ok, I've got an issue. I've downloaded the latest drivers, directx, and patch for Gal Civ, unfortunately I am still having an issue with the graphical interface. Namely anything adn everything that should be smooth/rounded off is a blocky solid color. Disregard. Problem fixed. Political Parties is just going to be a work around until I hear back/figure it out. for those interested. The problem had been a temp file in the My Games Gal Civ folder, from which my race was being loaded. Deleted the temp file, all is well.
While trying to work on a Mod I keep running inot the same problem. My modified race which occupies the Terran spot in the file keeps resetting it's data. I go in, change the Abilities values (Econ to 10, etc), close the file, save changes. open Gal Civ, enable Mod, and choose the race. Once I hit the Political Party selection screen, all my racial abilities reset to 0. any ideas what causes this/how I can fix this? Also, if I want my mod to replace political Parties, not add to t
As regards 6.) above, during an influence game I commonly purchase any Influence starbases my opponents have produced. It extends my range, and also bolsters my influence in an area I might not normally reach. Quite a bit of fun.
