Ok - didn't realize that ships from 1.0 wouldn't work in 1.2. Is there any way to edit the configuration files so they will work?

My original game for GC2 wouldn't work anymore (all 3 saves), so I started a new one. Updated my game to 1.2 and went to town. None of the ships I built in my first game are available. Even ships that I designed EARLY in my first game (small hull) aren't showing up. Only ships that I've designed in the current game are showing up. What's the deal?

I'm having a similar problem. I can load some games, just not others. Most recently, my Autosave, Previous Autosave, and Game Save (that were saved within 1 hour of each other) don't work. If I go back to a game from a few weeks past, it works just fine. So I need to ship configuration files and saved games, then reinstall? What about the ships I've built - will they still exist when I reload?
