Hello, I've been reading around this forum to see if I can find anyone with a similar problem but thusfar I have been unsuccesfull in that search. Starting any custom scenario results in a CTD. I can play normal skirmish games without any problems but selecting the custom scenario = CTD. I get messages whenever I select the wrong amount of enemies in the scenario's and then the game automatically adjust the number of oponents for me. Even after the game has changed this for me

I've asked this question before but GalCivII DL or DA does not support any ingame feature to make this possible. Squibit's option works but gets really tiresome if you want to make more than 1 or 2 screenshots. Frogboy gave me the advice to test this program out which I allready had installed to make some ingame movie's with World of Warcraft. Download a program called 'Fraps' on www.fraps.com. Install Fraps and let it run while playing the game. Check the tab 'screenshots' and
Yes Mistralok, that was my idea of the whole thing. But i've installed Fraps on my computer and have been playing a bit with it and it works 'ok'. Nevertheless I can imagine people not wanting to have 'fraps' running on thier computer in order to make a screenshot or even peeps who cannot (don't know how and where to get it) have 'fraps' running on their comps who might dig such a feature implemented in the game rather then using 3rd party programs. ps: Im satisfied
Hello everyone, I would like to suggest the following feature which im missing in DA and in DL for that matter. Would it be possible to use the 'Printscreen' button on your keyboard so that DA/DL makes a screenshot for you and stores it in (bmp/jpeg) format in a folder called screenshots somewhere in the root of your DA/DL folder? (at least somewhere along these lines) I'm addicted to the intelligence report feature where you get a very sexy and nice overview of whatev
From my previous reply about Pirates I noticed the following behaviour with the Carinoids (minor race). 'My 2nd observation was the Carinoids (minor civ) who were present in the game. The pirates killed everything except for Carinoids vessels/traderoutes/starbases. It just passed them by like they weren't there. I wonder if this is Intended or an unforseen effect?' Im running SmartException but thusfar DA has crashed 3 times (windows gave popup about DA doing something nasty and had to be shutdown) but in all 3 times SmartException didnt do anything (popup)? ************************************************************************************** When I want to send crash reports to SD, Do you guys only need the .CRA file or the .DMP as well? ps. I checked the .CRA file with notepad and it looks like a debug.err file from DA report
I started playing a game yesterday, medium galaxy with 3 opponents. Since im a little nubie I set the difficulty on 'normal'. I played CalCivII on 'bright' but got bitchslapped a few times so wanted to take it easy with my first game in DA. After I researched medium hulls and pumped out my first warvessels to start a war with the korx for building military starbases in my influence sphere I got the Pirate Event. I was by far the strongest Civ at that time and 3 turns at war with the kor
Hello, Ive downloaded the V1.2 Beta (or at least i think it is 1.2Beta) and i am playing a Drath campaign. I usually start setting my flagship on survey mode in hopes of getting some extra cash. Therefor i make a new scout using a cargo_hull to increase sensor/engines/life support. I am screwing around with the shipyard when i noticed that my new scout has an extremly large amount of engines/sensors/life support on them which never was possi

Hello my fellow addicted GC2 gamers Im playing the game for a short while now and im pretty amazed about this. However i've got a question which was not answered by rtfm. In the planetary screen you build all kinds of buildings to let the planet prosper. Several planets have special icons on their tiles which enhance the effect of a specific building. Most of thes
Yes it will be sold in the netherlands. For instance www.bol.com delivers it between 2-4 working days and i've called Dynabyte and they will sell it from next thursday. For me both options take too long so i decided to buy the game directly from Stardock and since the manual is available online as well there is no need for me to purchase a hardcopy. Btw i must admit that im downloading the game as we speak and its very easy and well arranged. Thusfar im a very satisfied cus
