supergeek i tried that once and it wasn't very effective you lose the ship once you invade and if its good enough to be "lethal" then its not worth it losing it.

think of it this way if your a very saintly civilization then the people you must be fighting are evil nay sayers and must be crushed because they believe differently than us and we are the "GOOD" civilization and therefore we must be right. Sound familiar? so killing every man woman and child isn't too far fetched because they would be heathens and
Also, if I design a new ship with the same name as one of my existing designs, I get another glitch. Every starport that isn't building something immediately begins to construct the new ship. =/ Actually, this happens to me regularily every time its after I design a ship yet it doesn't have the same name a
Sometimes when I load a new game it takes around a trun or two for the game to get back to what it was. ie some numbers on planets and reasearch turns are off maybe thats whats happening to your game. To the other bug I'm assuming you played with someone else like the drengins and so when you switch to another civilization (except from custom to custom) it doesn't use ships you saved on a civilization previously. So a ship you saved on the Drengins wou
i thought korx were evil anyway the same thing happens to me the yor get crushed by a few groups except the drengin usually thrive a bit maybe thats sense i don't put torians in my game
so they should at least get maybe two planets and stuff their horrible no challenge at all and they don't do anything
I usually playing on normal and they do that on my game mining and economy bases all over and when in war maybe two or three defenders oh yeah, how do you use espionage on minors? on the minors report they always say they need more funding yet theres no way to fund espionage.
One problem I've had with one of the minor races is that this one in particular (in a Dread Lord Scenario, no less) insisted on constructing INFLUENCE BASES RIGHT BY MY HOMEWORLD. Naturally I couldn't have that so I just kept destroying them repeatedly. At one point they asked for peace so I accepted because they stopped buildin
i was playing one game were i took a planet and decided to give it to a minor then the turn after it turned into torian which was nowhere near it
ooooooorrrr a rank marker, all ships start at ensign and make their way up the ranks, each new rank give them new bonuses but also a % of that bonus can be given to other ships if it joins with them in a fleet. A kind of leader feature. Ensign = +1 no fleet bonus Lt = +2 bonus and +1 to fleet ships <- w
declare war on them and the mercs come back if your that kinda guy... or i assume you wouldn't get them back since you decided to give them up when you put them in the merc. pool
I don't get why the minors just sit there and don't attack or anything. i think they should at least have some bit of influence since they are there and they do have a planet. I don't understand why they aren't given influence
I think what he's saying is the choice for say fighter 1 is still there and his new ship is there correct?
Well i played through the campaign i thought it was kinda hard at parts and i agree with binnister it was a disappointing ending i just sat there and stared at the words then went back to campaign to see if there wasn't another mission then i got up and left the game and went to watch some t.v.
