I've found that unless your population is getting really out of hand you only need 2 entertainment centers on planets that range from 12 to 16 in size and why 2 entertainment centers on small? (what do you consider small?) Small lvl4~lvl8 And the second entertainment center is needed

My badges don't show up. Does anyone know why? Yes, go to your char and press the DEFAULT option behind it. It's kinda hard to see, this happens when your accountname is different from your toonname.

Maybe some ally demanded that they made peace with you? Fine... but lousy ally that is not telling me he forced peace for me... I honestly think this area needs some serious work: 1. All wars should be announced. 2. All alliances should be announced. 3. All peace should

@Captain Rocky 1. Be sure to run the updated version (ie download the patch). 2. Safe the game manually (from options menu). 3. Try loading the previous savegame. 4. Test loading a game (simulating your nextday sequence). 5. Check your puter against virusses (http://housecall.trendmicro.com) 6. Check your puter against spyware (http://www.spybot.info) 7. If all fails email your savegame to support.

Actually, giving them a bribe @ friendly along with the alliance proposal sometimes does the trick as well... Depends on your strength and the puter his interest as well though (such as a evil warmonger at close will not easilly ally with you when you have a poor miitary or are a good alligned researcher). Also trading helps them like you.

The bigger the population the bigger your income.... Soooo farms are good.... Just get as many morale boosts as you can and you'll be fine.... In my current game I have a 37 billion pop planet @ 100% happiness with only 5 Zero G centers (a lvl 26 planet). As a rule of thumb I use one farm, two morale centers (without boosts, a few boosts and one is enough). Also having an one farm minimum per p

Please have a close look into the AI planetary management, the AI is doing really stupid stuff with it now (such as building an economical capital on a manufacturing planet. I find myself having to work in order to AVOID a culteral victory... That cant be the intend of the game... Also it's kind of silly that if you kick the AI his hiney big time after he declared war on you by destroying his entire fleet that he doesnt make any attempts to bribe off peace... no instead he lets you g

The direct download option is the Collectors Edition. To my surprise (i did digital download plus ship box option) you basicly get 2 galciv2 for the price of one that way. Because the box has different serials then the digital download one. Anyway this way all the money goes to Stardock instead of 50~60% to the retailer/distributor, that alone should be enough to go for the digital (plus ship box) option imho. Doc /wonders why his metav

Hi, I'm Dutch as well and checked all stores (Freerecordshop, E-Plaza, Dixons and a local gamesshop) no luck at all, so i choose the 'buy-it-direct download it now and ship me the box' option... I'm happily playing the game atm whilst waiting for the game to arrive, how sexy is that!

Hi, I'm not sure if im understanding the advantage factor on planetary invasion when being invaded. For instance, I lost a planet where i had 68 soldiering, 30k tech vs the Yor who had 30 soldiering and 20K tech in a battle where i had 15000 and he invaded it with 1000 (4 times in a row). With advantage factors of 12 vs. 9 (ish). How in the world could i be loosing that... O.o Im tempted to say that the advantage factor on defense is gimped / actually

It would be really nice to be able to move/reassign waypoints so that you dont have to adjust all your planets and stuff...
