Sorry, to ask so many questions (sucks being a noob), but how do you create survey ships? Every time I try to explore an anomoly it say it needs to be a survey ship.

Yeah, the only time I realized we were at war is when some quarterly report reminded me I SUCK at warfare No demands, plenty of communication. No idea where it came from as we traded researches several times......and let's just say I was SLIGHTLY unprepared for battle.......ever been raped by an alien?! <br

Granted, I usually get slaughtered in these type of games. But a problem I'm having is that I can't seem to make large capital ships. Is there a research I can knock out to get them? Also, I had people declare war on me with out even knowing....is this common?
