Well I'm not sure who your post is directed at but I'm not whining about features that I personally want. I'm talking about features that are listed in the game manual that are still non-existent. Mainly the ability to have custom playlists or at the very least be able to press a key and move the next track (also listed in the manual). There have been many threads about the quality of the music in the game and I agree that it's great. But it's a pity and kind of insulting to the compo

Please please please fix the looping music and add the jukebox feature!!!
Exactly how are you doing this? I'd like to know because I've been unable to get the game to play more than one music track, seems to randomly pick one when loading the game and loops it endlessly.
It's a non-existent feature. People have been complaining about it since the games release, still hasn't been fixed and doesn't seem to be a big priority. Don't expect it to be fixed anytime soon, if at all.
Yep. The bug is still there for me also. And I don't understand what the "Soundtrack changes" and "Music tweaks" are all about in the release notes. The game still only plays one song over and over again for me with no way to switch or go to another track, still no jukebox feature. Damn shame really, the music is actually very good and adds alot. Methinks they are never going to fix this. :sigh: I get the feeling it's not a big priority for Stardock. All the little interface tweaks a
Same here, at least with the campaign. I know the word on the street is that the game doesn't cheat but I find the AI is almost always ahead in every way at least initially and I play very aggressively. They also seem to magically know where the best planets and resources are. I've seen their colony ships take bee lines through fog of war to such planets and resources far away from their homeworld in the early game when I know there is no way they shou
I've also seen white ships too, but only in the editor. Sometimes they're white, sometimes they're not.
Hi Frogboy, Initially I thought the starbase had been captured but Kid Charming already pointed out that this isn't possible. I've edited my original post to reflect this. What really happened is that the enemy destroyed a resource starbase of mine and then built their own on the same spot. Now, that starbase shows up in my list from the Planet / Shiplist button in the control panel, click on View ships and then starbases. Maybe that list isn't meant to just show my starbases but eve
"So the only "bug" you've mentioned is that it's hard to access rally points that are on starbases. " I realize the slow forum has nothing to do with the game, that was just observation. Hopefully that will improve. But what about the enemy starbase showing up in my list? That's not a bug? In the interest of being pro-active I've posted everything I've interpreted to be a bug in the glitch report sticky.
I'm probably duplicating efforts here but in I'll post some things I've noticed: 1. Enemy destroys my resource starbase and builds his own in its place. Enemy starbase now shows up in my list. 2. Some rally points still show up in my rally point list even after deleting them 3. Rally points on starbases can't be disbanded unless you park a ship there first (I think this is well known?) 4. Background music slider is set to 0. But when coming in and load
About the starbase issue. I first noticed it today. I was at war with Thalan's for a good while and lost a few resource starbases in the process. They built their own starbases on those resources and now their starbases are showing up in my list. Doesn't seem right to me.
It isn't that small bugs bother me easily. But that I've wasted considerable amounts of time in the game trying to make sense out what I'm seeing when in fact, it makes no sense, only to discover that it's another bug. That's what is frustrating. I just want to play and enjoy the game and keep it moving along at a decent pace without getting tripped up by information on the game screens that isn't correct and reading about things in the manual which aren't there. So to me alot of these bugs are
And this is worthy of a response in what way? "WHAT THE FUCK IS EVERYONE COMPLAINING ABOUT? Cheese and Rice you people are obsessed with these little bugs. HINT: Get a new or update your computer!!!"
Well, for whatever reason I have the enemies starbases showing up in my list where I once had a starbase that they destroyed.
I've only had this game one week and I'm beginning to lose interest in playing it whilst discovering the ever increasing pile of bugs. At first I noticed that the custom playlists feature for the music is non-existent and also the "Enable Tutorial Mode" checkbox that is again non-existent both of which are mentioned in the manual. Major disappointment since the music tracks are actually pretty good but the game will only play one, over and over again. The
Nice write up. Thanks for the tips.
Thanks for the tips and info, very helpful.
Hi All, Is there an easy way to manage an ever expanding fleet of ships? I find it very difficult after building many ships to keep track of where they are, what their orders are, how many hit points they have etc, and it's really bogging down the gameplay. If there is a screen somewhere in the game that shows all of this information I'm missing it, please help. The ships listing on the main screen isn't much help, it doesn't tell me where my ships are or what they're doing and it wou
Thanks for that. Another feature in the manual that isn't true, just like the custom playlists. Kind of makes me wonder if there are more. Did they rush this game out the door or what? Regards, Dave
Bump. Anybody?
Hi All, I don't have a check box in the game options for "Enable Tutorial Mode". I have downloaded and applied all of the latest updates. Thanks. Dave
Just got the game today and so far looks really good but: To the developers, Please fix or add the as of yet non-existent custom playlist feature mentioned in the manual. There are 24 tracks available in the music folder and the game picks one and plays it over and over and over again which is pretty aggravating. At the very least allow us to use the next track key shortcut to switch tracks. Thank you.
