Its fairly easy to check if something will give bonuses from the tiles - simply build it on the tile then hit the summary button in the planet screen and the page will show you what effects ( including bonuses ) apply to your various structures.
So they have taught the AI to be as treacherous as a human. I am both thrilled and a little scared , guess I will have to start watching my back from now on.
Hey All Bought and downloaded the twilight addon and tried out a game or 2 . Since when do anomolies continue to spawn throu the game and is it possible to turn this off? Thanks in advance for any advice
I started a post asking about the library's existance a month ago no one saw it then either. So either this is rarer than Jimmy Hoffa after 1970 or its been removed from the game for balancing issues.
the Wiki Website linked from this site lists a precursor library bonus tile ( research 700% ) I have never seen one is this something that was taken out of the game has anyone ever seen one?
Hi does anyone know if it would be possible to create a mod ( or even just change a value somewhere ) so that only one stabase is allowed per sector instead of four ? This is something I would really like as in many games the entire galaxy gets full of these and somehow it doesnt seem realistic I mean these are massive space stations not little satilites.

When I first started playing I saw minor races appearing as I explored now after the last couple patches they dont appear now matter what I have set on/off tech tradings I can turn on off but the races button seems to be stuck on off. Any suggestions?
I am an old Gamer I have been playing computer games for over 25 years now ( Started on a Vic 20 ) and Gal Civ II is going to be one of the classics. It has the same feel as civ did , open ended , allows the player to control the starting mechanics and is simply fun to play. I especially like the tech tree as most games tend to fall down here by making it too short but this one seems to be fully fleshed out. It is also hearte
