I was under the impression that if a freighter (or trade route) passed through an economic starbase's area of effect, and if that starbase had say +30% for trade, that trade route would get +30% in income regardless of how many other starbases it passed through. Reading some other posts though, people seem to think that building more starbases (and upgrading them) along the route will stack this effect. So if you had two +30% starbases along the route, you'd get a total of +60%? Is t

Regarding my post above (Apr 29), it doesn't seem to be a memory leak. When the problems occur, my page file size is around 500 megs, and I still have 100-200 megs of free RAM. However, alt+tabbing out and then back into the game does seem to fix it temporarily, until the problem happens again. Sometimes though, alt+tabbing out and then in results in a blank screen in-game (by blank I mean entirely black), so it would be nice if a fix was made to take care of this. Thanks!

I posted this some time before, but I can't find that post and the problem hasn't been addressed because it's still an issue in 1.1. After a seemingly random amount of turns (as few as 3, as many as 10), the game gets choppy and the cursor starts skipping around the screen. My problem isn't exactly one of the known issues, and when I upgraded to 1.1 Beta, the problem wasn't solved. At seemingly arbitrary points in the game, my cursor starts skipping around the screen (as opposed to a normally fluid motion) and the game background (i.e. space, stars) starts flickering and changing colors. The game pretty much becomes unplayable. I updated my video drivers, but I'm really not sure what's going on. All
