So...They were sex slaves?
HA! I didn't mean that, but good show....I wonder if the devs are listening to this?
1. please add a thousands separator to the influence numbers on the United Planets screen and on the United Planets tab in the foreign relations manager.
We need some new issues in the UP. Some of these issues are pretty old and it just doesn't have any shock value anymore. Something that's always bothered me: Why does everyone at the UP have to vote at one time?
I tried to create one tech for this game and I just couldn't pull it off. This will help a lot of people mod.

I've saw a thing on the discovery channel about Antimatter. I've been researching it and it makes an incredibly powerful weapon. Modern day nuclear weapons only release about 7% on an atoms energy. Guess how much energy would be released in an antimatter weapon? 100%. With that kind of weaponary, who needs the death star?(I mean terror star). Just send a few micro-warheads of antimatter at an enemy planet and watch the fireworks begin. I forget how far up in the tree these weapons are,
i'm not sure it constitutes a full-blown discussion, perhaps a quip. i don't think i'd want to see a full-blown discussion on Torian reproduction and sexuality... not until i'm ready to join a monestary, anyway.
The torians should get an economic bounus for dirty magazines like Playtorian. Perhaps even an influence bonus for all of those xenophiliacs out there. Now that I think about it, the torians are a dark and disturbing race. I don't blame the Drengin for enslaving
Wow, the Drengin are so evil... I almost feel it would be an actual sin to play as them. Kind of like the controversy of Grand Theft Auto. People thought that game was so horrible, but it pales in comparison next to playing as the Drengin Empire lol! IMO sex is usually a bigger controversy than violence. ergo, the Torians should be the XXX race of GalCiv... of course, i don't remember ever reading that they breed sexually... maybe they just spawn genetic clones
<br
On top of this, my forum renowned Fembots will be available to your beck and call to clean your..our home and your office...plus any exterminating or assinations that you may need...
Perhaps Cari is a Yor...that would explain a LOT. Especially her efficiency at killing other life forms, spiders mostly....look out Brad she's coming for you next!
How about the fact that the Yor, who are supposedly tireless robots, are in fact NOT the most industrious when compared to the Thalans. I mean, seriously, robots or insects?? I would think robots would build factories faster. Maybe, but I can think of two counter-arguments. First, organic life can be a very efficient "machine," when it has millions of years to evolve towards one adaptation like rapid breeding or high production. A beehive or ant col
is there a way to change the colour scheme of the forums its wrecking my senstive eyes i would much prefer a more neutral colour option is possible please
No offense, but the forum is black. How is that hurting your eyes? Usually the bright and stark websites hurt my eyes.
Blowing ships up is a declaration of war too
hmmmm....are you sure? Someone else told me something different!
Neutralizing an enemy spy would expose the network.
Ah, but the ggame doesn't tell you who is spying on your planets. (A stupid thing, but that's how it is)
Gotta agree here. It makes me wonder honestly, if Good didn't have some ludicrously high bonuses at the start that made it make sense that every planet event is evil=best outcome, and then got nerfed back. Either way it needs to be fixed - and by buffing Good (and neut a bit imo) not by debuffing Evil.
If they did and overhaul on the good and neutral alignments, what would we want the devs to put in them?
As for the extreme planets- what I'd suggest is a game option for frequency of planets. None, Few, Some, Many, Most - which would determine what percentage of planets would require extreme tech.
On top of that you could have extreme planets linked to a certain star type. Right now yellow stars are running the scene, and purple stars have the major planets. All of the other stars out there are just flufff with ne real purpose, so why not give each certain star a c
Technically it should probably be 1.10, but that'd get confusing with 1.1, etc.
You could be like Startrek and have Galactic Civilizations 1.9.1.2.3.4.32 Now that would confuse some people!
I agree that the spy system strains an already strained economy and this becomes a major pain, as others have said. Also, why does each spy cost more than the last? And why does your spy die when he neutralizes, does the enemy spy explode? Get real, your spy shouldn't die every time he attacks an enemy spy. Couldn't your attack fail and the enemy spy remain on the planet? It just feels like kamikaze wars with spies right now. Finally, could there be a espionage treaty with all
Yea you need to update or else you'll have a bug from 1.0. "This major crash is getting the game locked up!" Kyro-"Yea....we fixed that in 1.1"
No. Galactic Civilizations II 2.0 would be Galactic Civilizations II 2.0 After they get through 1.8b and 1.9b it will just kind of slosh over into 2.0. Kind of like Y2K, without (hopefully) any big crashes.
IMO because it's not a problem that needs to be fixed. There's no multiplayer, that would automatically penalize "good" players versus "evil" ones, it's just a player vs. AI. If he wants an easy win, he plays "evil". If he wants harder game, he chooses "good". That simple.
Wait, if you want to make your game harder, set it som machaotic. Not choose good. I hope in TA the good, and maybe all of the alignments, get a complete overhaul.
How will the new espionage system work? And how will the Krynn super ability work?
It's a common problem we've brought up multiple times.
I'm wondering why the devs haven't fixed that. They know about it, but why haven't they done anything about it? Since it's hard coded we can't fix it, but they should be able to.
A stupid question , but I'll ask anyway. Can these buldings be improved, and will the improved buildings look different?
Hey are you guys ever going to have the option to have the old espionage system? I don't like the new one.
How about the fact that the Yor, who are supposedly tireless robots, are in fact NOT the most industrious when compared to the Thalans. I mean, seriously, robots or insects?? I would think robots would build factories faster
To me robots seem to be the ultimate form of life, physically atlest. They don't breathe air, they can take alot of h
