Maybe they put it there to just extend their ship's range? Remember the AI doesn't cheat, so it'll need a way to get across the map.
Galaxy613
lol, do you guys think you put enough options? Anyways, I heard about it on Gamespot, but I only really looked into it after looking a thread about it on the Egosoft forums (maker of X3: Reunion)
Or just link to the picture. I'll like that prospect because it breaks the forum at that size. And try what Coplann said, or see if "AC3D" can make nodes and if it can then create nodes and name them per what Coplann said.
Whats the difficulty level?
Good read! Oh my gosh! The non-compiled size of the project was 5 terrabytes?
^ Oh no its the dude from the X3:Reunion forums, arghhhh ^ (apoligies if it isnt) What do you have aganist me?
Pfft patches are what patches are, but Stardock's patches should be called add-ons in their own rite. Keep up the good work SD! And I can't wait for the modding stuff thats coming in 1.1!
Nice review.
yeah, wormholes would be really awesome. Especially for like large maps or higher.
I was happily beginning a new game of GalCiv2 in the beta when all of the sudden when I ordered new colonyship of mine to a class 18 planet, it stopped and then CTD! Here is my .CRA log which seems to also include the debug.err file so I won't bother to add that... [SmartException] LastEx=GALCIV2.EXE File
The correct anwser to this question is: "Not yet" Hot seat might be coming in the first expansion (or earlier?) there has been no hint of when full-fledged muiltplayer may be enabled/added.
Yeah, the only reason why the first was stand alone because they were having problems putting it up on SDC and the IT guys were out at the moment, but with them wanting to get it out they just uploaded it.
Whats that about Leha? I don't see anything funny.
Sounds great! Can't wait to get my hands on it.
I think Avault.com might have it once it comes out. But Gamespot's basic access downloads aren't horrible, and theres no waiting lines (I'm looking at you GameSpy...)
Congrats to everyone who won! I like the one who put GalCiv2 on top of AOE3 And Jeysie's was funny too.
I don't do the same as the AI, but I still manage to keep up with them last time I played Normal.
And Oblivion does NOT use Star Force. just FYI.
From #37 ...Are you saying it has a capability to crash a game? It's a beta, so there is that likely hood of a crash. If you don't like unstableness, don't take the beta. <TD class="mb-B
Is it too strong? Or was it just too weak before?
Take a look! In about 4 days (from the 25th of March) Till the demo comes out. Soon everyone will be able to see the awesomeness of GalCiv2, even if they can't buy it!
I love this patch! I'm experiencing a SECOND colony rush! After the first one everyone had to worry about the colonys getting setup and building infrastructur, but now thats over, and all the races are sending out colony ships anew! And to keep up my position as 1st/2nd in the galaxy, I have a number of colony ships of my own out in the cold void, 130 turns into the game! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Congrats.gif" border
Theres a button that allows you to see it without the red hard points?! :O
It makes me laugh and cry at the same time when it's played at 800x600..the GUI trys it's best to fit the screen, but a good amount of data is lost. Poor GUI You CAN make the game play at 800x600 (only tested it in window mode tho) but as per above, it's really messed up. I suggest saving up for a new montior, doesn't even have to be a LCD or a TFT.
Dude, I'm loving everything that has been changed. The new way it hands the econemy takes several turns to get used it. But it's quite rewarding! I was sliding by for awhile with low income and low money scarely building colony ships and scarely building my colonys. And when i did build my colonys I set them up to produce population and to give me money. For awhile I was always on my edge of my seat hoping that the AI didn't take the last planets befor
