I am now playing a game where the senate voted on whether all races should switch to Intergalactic Diplomacy since it's the best for the people...the problem is I'm a lot farther in research than any other race and I'm still NO WHERE NEAR getting that tech. Is this supposed to happen?
I've noticed this everytime since loading a game. My influence boundaries are a lot smaller than they should be...then 2 turns later they all go back to normal. I think this has to do with the bonuses not being in place upon loading? The game treats the first turn as if it's the first turn of the game. This includes: Showing the first welcome message and ranking, showing the research page, showing my homeworld's terrain. Anyone else notice these things?
