I agree with Oldstatesman, I had more problems getting my network running to DL the game then I do running it. The only problem that I have had was figuring out how to get my ships to work in different games. I am running it on a 3 year old computer that gets formatted 3 times a year and that was patched together from various parts and is probalby one of the most unstable computers around (if I accidently bump into it I have to wiggle some wires to get

Jester, what I have found out so far is that your ships are saved under the race that you are using. If you used a custom race it should be saved. When you start a new game and go to pick your race at the bottom there should be a save/load button click on that and it should have your race saved. The ships that you have designed only work for the race that you designed that in. This is all that I have found out so far hope it helps!

I spent a few hours making my own ships and I think they are pretty neat but the problem I have is that I cannot move them between Games. It looks like I can only use them in the game that I designed them in, is there somthing I am missing and if so how do you ships between games?

I am the kind of person who just likes to jump into a game and give it a few tries then start looking up what I am doing wrong. That said I think the game could benefit from a "mission" tutorial. With all the great voice acting it would not be that big of a deal to make a scenario were you are told, "it would probably be a good idea to build a lab now, labs are helpful because they.........." and so on.

Having never heard of GalCiv 1 I stumbled across the GalCiv 2 website by accident and fell in love.
