Farms are in a dark green section of the tech/research tree. Once you obtain the research necessary for farming it'll be an option on the planetary build screen. Note: You DO NOT need to build farms. Your worlds will automatically produce a certain amount of food, usually enough for around 6 billion or so people. Building farms increases the population cap for that particular world, and the more people you put on it the more you'll have to deal with it dragg

Real Clear Politics is a great resource, beloved by many on both sides of the aisle (and a staple at the office of the Congressman I worked for). It's not a news site per se, rather a hub for Op/Ed articles, press releases, and such. Real Clear Politics
Stardock is hiring game developers, animators, artists and more. Some may find relocating to Plymouth, Michigan, a hardship (especially those first few winters), but a well-paying job's money goes further there than it would on one of the coasts. CEO Brad Wardell tells us the company is currently l
I shopped there on Tuesday, they had Medal of Honor: Allied Assualt for five bucks.
I generally look for someone who I have a sizeable height advantage over, and who appears to have realtivly low upper body strength.
For those interested the Brazilian movie "Tropa de Elite", which focuses on the special Police unit known as BOPE, was released in english yesterday under the title "Elite Squad". It's brutal and not for youngins, but an excellent film.
The big question here is whether playing FPS games is beneficial to those skills, or if those with those skills are naturally more attracted to a FPS.
Second, I once was able to get a PQ 52 planet in DA. Which in that game is "impossible" without cheating or modding. Or so people say. Eitherway I don't have to prove myself to anyone.
52? Kids stuff. Now this is a man's planet.

I don't know what communication, if any, there has been between the two companies, so I would like to think so. However, they are currently using Steam as a distributer, and so I don't know if their agreement allows for exclusivity in online distribution.
I've greatly enjoyed the GalCiv series, and I consider my pre-order of GalCiv2 to be one of the best prchases I've made. It really opened my eyes to indie developers, and the great games that they are producing. I'm sure that you all have heard of Introversion software, makers of Uplink, Darwinia, Defcon, and more recently Multiwinia. The latter game was one I was priveleged to take part in the beta testing of, and I was happy to see it released several week

Really, I think this whole "gamers Bill of Rights" thing is just silly. Don't get me wrong, I like Stardock as much as the next guy, but to me it just seems like a cheesy public relations stunt meant to showcase the buisness image that Stardock is trying to project, rather than actually accomplishing significant change.
Multiwinia really is an excellent game, a great multiplayer companion to the amazing single player experiance that was Darwinia. I highly reccomend it. (Watch the credits!)
Multiwinia, FTW.
I like VG Cats as well, but seeing as his update scheduale has gone to pot, I don't check it very often anymore.
Yeah, the game seriously needs a patch that includes a "World in Flames" mode (where you start over from the begining with your money and items from the previous game, elsewise, what's the point in getting them?), and some of the bugs.
It's pretty rare that I get worked up over a computer game release, and even rarer that I pre-order one. While I enjoy games quite a bit, and spend more time than I probably should playing them, I just don't get that hyped up very often. Thus far, the only two games I have ever pre-ordered have been GalCiv2, and the expansion Dark Avatar. That is until recently. The other day I went ahead and preordered Mercenaries 2, the sequel to Mercenaries: Playgro
Most of the stores here (Arizona) carry GalCiv 2: Game of the Year Edition for about $20.
Not really the same, since I used the map editor to start the planet out at PQ26, but it did start with a precursor library and a teardrop morale booster, and with a PQ doubling megaevent and the Altarian bonus buildings, I had it maxed out (PQ72).
Cheater. ;) Back in the old days, shortly after GalCiv2 was released, I came across a [link="https://forums.galciv2.com/102223"]Class 72[/link] that had occurred naturally (through random events and such).
Starship Troopers, make it to follow Heinlein's story not be some piece of crap as the "original".
I personally think that it would be better as a limited run television series, that way things could be fleshed out a bit more. I also kinda liked the movie, sure it's nothing like the book but it had it's own campy charm.
It was actually available free to watch on CBS's website, though I imagine they've removed it by now.
Yeah, but I prefer watching on DVD. In any case, it rocked!
