If I am going to play a non-campaign game which should I use? I'm just trying to figure out how to start playing again... thanks.

I am newly back to the series, only played around with GC2 when it came out. I have all three now installed and updated. How do I play the first two campaigns? From DA? or some how through Twilight? Is it recommended to go back and play the campaigns? Should I even bother starting a game through GC or always use DA or Twilight? Thanks for the help!
This is a BIG issue for me. I noticed right on my first game I've been asking about it ever since. I was told this will be fixed in the 1.1 patch. *fingers crossed*
This would be a cool effect, any chance of it getting "fixed" ?
Thank you for the quick response. I look forward to 1.1 How soon is the question, of course...
Is better stack-fleet management ever coming? And, I'm still getting "oceans" on Mars... /sigh
But the i and d dont give me a list of ships in a fleet or let me change their names or anything else like you can when they are by themselves.
When you have units "stacked" you can no longer get to the more detailed unit information screen. This effects both single ships and especially ones in a fleet. In order to edit them or see the individual ships in a fleet I have to move them out of the stack first. This does not seem correct. Shouldn't you be able to "shift click" or "double click" on a ship or fleet to bring up the detailed view, as you can when they are not stacked?
Will we ever get better stack handling: When you have units "stacked" you can no longer get to the more detailed unit information screen. Patch would be nice.
This is something I've been asking about since when the game came out. When you have ships in a stack you lose a lot of functionality over controling them. As well you don't get the detailed information you would if they were by themselves. I really hope they fix the stacking issues. The only way around this is to constantly move fleets/ships out of stacks to organize them.
Just got the game going a few things right off the bat I want to ask about: 1. When you have units "stacked" you can no longer get to the more detailed unit information screen.
