Uhm, I knew how to do that... 30 yrs ago. Now I'm just plain technologically obsolete. An editor for dummies maybe, which has a button "Choose empire colour"? Thanks anyway...

Hi. Is there a way to change my empire colour on the minimap after starting the game? I chose the wrong colour [e digicons]:\[/e] PS. Dread lords...
I've seen great improvements too. I wouldnt worry about major bugs.
Thats fine. Just, it would be nice to know when designing the ship. cause in the ship design window the range keeps increasing over 15 if you keep adding sensors...
I have a recon ship that I put 17 Sensors Mk4 (gives +2 sensor range), but the ship still has an actual sensor range of 15 !!??? I have built the (eyes of the universe?) wonder.
its a rts. *yawns*
Minors could be quite useful: 1. They get all the most recent technologies (if I am not mistaken) so you can trade with them rather with your enemies. 2. They can be a useful distraction for your enemies. 3. Each game you play, there is that strong race nearby that you dont dare attack. Having a minor civ starting a war with them, with you providing the minors with ships could be quite useful. Therefore I would like this to get fixed... if possible, and if mos
Late in the game a minor civ named the Vegans appear. They were on my border with the Yor and I thought it would be good to give them a hand in their fight with the Yor, especially since I didnt want to risk direct conflict with them. I made them a nice Military Starbase and gave them a bunch of my ships, but they didnt move them for 20+ turns, even though the Yor kept sending single troop ships which everytime got through and finaly conquered the poor Vegans. Is it a bug, or i
Frogboy, I wish you all the best for your third baby. And remember, dont give her a computer till she's 15 or something, or she'll end up being like you...
Thank you. No hard feelings about me whining all the time...
I tried to find new ones. None available cause the card is quite old....
I get a repeating crash when confirming exiting the game. It didnt happen before 1.3 b2 and I had all of them installed... Here's the log, hope it helps... So it's not useless *in theory*. However, it is useless in practice 'cos it's bugged and adds that 20% like a building! Not according to Stardock. I asked several times about it being fixed, and they said it was a feature, and that "if I dont like it, I shouldnt build it..."
Ok. Lets make a quick recap... 16 No (including me) 4 YES, though 2 do it just because of aestetics and admit it being useless 1 Hell Yeah, whatever that means.. That makes 87% of people thinking it's useless. I'll make this a petition for Stardock to balance this wonder. If anyone wants to join in, just post a big NO (or Yes for that matter, in case you find the wonder
Id like to make a poll of it, but I dont know how The question is: Do you build the Galactic Guide Book wonder in your games? Please keep it simple- Yes or No.
I see people fail to see my point.... including folks from Stardock... I, and most other players, dont care if you designed something on purpose or its an oversight. What I do care about is having a well balanced game thats fun to play. If there are certain features that the vast majority of players regard as bad, I would think that the developer would try and balance things- for the sake of a better game. The fixes are really not a big deal. Miniturization is, as the experienc

Stop whining. According to Stardock, this is a feature. Its like researching a super-virus that kills off your entire population...
Bump for the senile ones...
Miniaturization works as designed so I'm not sure what the issue there is. I cannot believe this comes from Stardock. So tell me; is it normal that after researching a miniturization tech you end up with less space on your ships? A simple yes or no will suffice...
I see that (and this is quite common) there are 3 types of poster on a forum like this. The flamers (and you might considered me as one), the normal analytical people and the fanboys who refuse to see anything wrong with the game. The people who are serious about their gaming know very good what I was referring to. So does Stardock. Currently everyone tells me to "just not research the last min
Sorry. X-post, unintentional...
Title says it all... I cant believe it. Also, we still have to endure the stupid galactic wonders that nobody ever builds.... Disappointed!!!
Yeah, but what for?
Can someone explain what kind of expense Bonus Prod/Research is? I understand Production and Research. But what about BONUS P/R? Mind you, I dont have any planets focus on Production or Research...
