on gigantic maps i got a dozen or two, i just need to know whats in the dark space out there before my enemy does

guys, I play on tough with max races on gigantic map i have won my first two games relatively easy on that, but this third is...getting complicated Im fighting an alliance of 3! races, they totaly negated my main attack ships(i got beam 7 they shields 4-6) and now they are producing large ships en mass. I produce atleast 10 ships per turn but my fleet

this is an invasion bug, you(or someone else) gets a trillion population after succesfull invading = huge influence shock etc, lasts one turn, then the population on the planet reduces to max planet capacity it is annoying, i hope SD looks into this if you get the same bug when invading with 2 transporters, try it with one only
i cant agree that moo2 had better AI - i won without exeption every game on the hardest level - the AI had big flaws and the tactical AI especially. the research was weak - i always picked the same techs and ran trough it with a 100% foolproof strategy... thou a good AI patch for moo2 could still squeeze some fun out of the game i love gc2, i hadnt the first one but i like the realism in the techtree and the good AI, its just all i want
and its not true that you, as an attacker, alwaysdestroy the enemy with the first salvo - they can do nasty damage even if youre the attacker - i had faster and better ships, chose the combat but still lost 1/4th of my ships in combat - and with the enemies sheer numbers this was to much, they overran me!
hey wonderful!
mandelbaum, wich card you got?
i got it fixed with the latest patch, no problem for me anymore
the only 2 choices are surrendering to the torians or (joining)someone else, to you surendering doesnt make sense - allies dont surrender to each other
it would be awesome but look at the total war series, especially rome: soon after start you fight several battles per turn, all almost the same and a disastrous AI ...and its all about the tactical fight there i hope SD devotes their time to something else, not tactical battles
its more frequent now than the prev patch for me, and i cant do anything about it, neother disbanding fleets helps me
what bugs? nothing serious for me really, must be just lucky Im enjoying the game since day 1
