Maybe I'm missing a huge point here, but is it really that hard to self regulate your own forumn veiwing! You see a subject title (and most are pretty obvious from the titles) you don't think you'll like, then just don't click them. Its not rocket science. I seriously don't know how or why this became an issue. Reading forum thread titles even one you maye not like cant be that much of a burden. Even finding topics you'll be interested in, that aren't OFT isn't hard. Its a simple click to one of

*Suikoden 6 where are you. 3 is tied with 5 for my Fav, but 4 still has a bad taste in my mouth. Is 5 worthwhile? I liked 2 more than 3 myself, and after hearing bad things about 4, I avoided it and not paid much attention to 5 at all. IMHO 5 is much much more like Suikoden 1 and 2. Infact its my second fave in the series after 2. Didn't really like 3, and 4 I h

X-COM has been mentioned a lot already so I'll keep my wish for a dam good successor to this title brief. I want Now! The Cenga titles didn't do it at all for me. I prefer the Classic X-com style. Dungeon Keeper/2: How I loved this game, especially number 2. We kinda had a simular game released a couple years back with Evil Genius which I enjoyed, but still wasn't Dungeon Keeper! Overlord, while simular in spirit just didn't do it for me. Syndicate: I remember playing this game

Just so I can knock Stormbringer on the head once and for all. Your analogy is seriously flawed with an English paper. If you write the paper correct the first time it is done for good. There are no changes, and no other outside variables to consider at all. As a programmer if I write the perfect piece of code, even if it’s flawless in every conceivable way. It could still be flawed as soon as outside elements of different computer configurations come into effect. Despite that

Not one for the mathematics of things, but I am just wondering if any of these simulations included any starbase bonuses? I for one end up fighting nearly all of my battles in military starbase spheres of influence. With mixed ships and the bonus from fully upgraded military bases my ships becoming near invicible. There defneces protect from all but the most powerful enemy ships, and even with minimal weaponary, the boasts the Starbase provide give my ships more than enough capability

So does anyone else out there besides me roleplay in this game? Yeah i know its a stratergy game, not much room to Roleplay but surprisingly I'm finding the game a lot more enjoyable doing so. What I mean by roleplay is not necesarrily just going all out to win the game, but playing the role of the race youv'e chosen as you see it. Case in point. For me I made a custom race know as 'The Energon alliance'. There a race made purely of Energy naturally. For them I tend to pick traits i

Not tried modding so I don't wish to speak too much about things I don't understand. I do wish to broach something I've seen mentioned though. That is the if you give a race a custom tech tree, iof invaded or that tech is stolen other races have access to it too. That seems perfectly reasonable to me. If I conquer an alien race, no matter how foreign the tech, I can bet you anything one of my top priorities would be to retro engineer there technology. It seems rather realistic to me in that sens

One factory then the rest research labs. After the intial building is done, flip it to specialise in research and just forget about it. Even if the upgrading process takes a while it doesn't really matter as your not needing it to be that quick as all that needs upgrading is a factory every now and then and then the labs. Your not waiting to build anything new.

Very nice story DarkTalon. I'd be interested in hearing how it all finishes out for you.

Seems I'm being rather reserved compared to other people on my starport deployment. I only tend to throw Starports on Quality 10+ planets, unless the lower quality planet has a manufacturing bonus. Then I tend to make it into a pure production planet. I generally make my smaller planets either economic or research centres.
