Um isn't this part of the challenge of the game?Try thinking of ways to counter act it instead of taking away the obstacle.

Your only inviting another exploit.Keep high production values and the AI will not attack you?The AI doesn't know what your strategy is.It cannot read your mind nor tell the future. And if you are trying for a peaceful victory and the AI won't attack, then you end up with a boring game. Two of the peaceful methods of victory won't even provoke a response from the AI,tech victory and Alliance. At least I have never seen one.
Click back on the tile where the special is,it should give you a time unless you a re indeed not putting anything into social spending.
After I made a colony ship with a speed of 7 parsecs, the UP Council voted that all constructors must have a speed of 7 parsecs or more.A coincidence or does what you create and do in the game effect Up Council issues?
If you follow the movement notes on a freighter it counts the number of turns in a round trip.Outward bound starting from your planet is at its lowest money profit, however on the return trip it keeps the maximum amount of profit ,(minus starbase bonuses if an economic starbase bonus is not effecting it,) until it gets back to your home planet.
A solution would be kamikaze attack or ramming the starbase with the ship or fleet. You would get a screen much like you do with planetary invasion in which you could choose several diabolical tactics, like blow the engine core, causing much more damage.Or introduce a missile technology with fast speed and higher damage capability that could fly on its own. In the expansion I would imagine spys could reduce starbase effectivenesss.
Have them take a diplomacy hit, which gradually goes back to what it was before if they stop the cycle. This goes for the human player as well. The more it is done with less turns the more it effects your diplomacy skill.
You have to have "close" relationship first and then alliance will appear as an option in the diplomacy screen.
Would be nice to be able for two or more players to play on the same map with same races except for the humans race custom or not.Players could challenge each other for highest points, fastest victory based on year in all categories of victories. Smaller groups from each league could share the map and swap strategies and tactics, although I suppose this could all be done in PBEM mode.Medals could be rewarded based on these as well.So one player woul
I like the idea of having to choose between a defensive and offensive starbase, giving a higher percentage of defense modules for the former and offensive for the latter.Starbases other than military should only be allowed ship assist defensive modules again very limited.Their main line of protection should be ships. Number of modules should be based on logistics level and should be modules per sector. This would let a defensive player and the AI protect home planets withot making starb
Edit - I'm playing with no tech trade. Somehow I think these tw facts are related.Maybe the AI is sending out the only ships it can.Maybe with tech trading those transports would be warships.Unless this is happening with tech trading on.
If you have an mp3 of it,put it in the music folder and rename it to one of the current music file names. It will work.
) You get a very rich and very loyal (who's going to throw away that much trade revenue?) partner. The Drengin did this to me,remember trading partner is only one of the calculations for state of relations with you.
You can already see treaties without espionage. And I don't think there are any pacts per se.
What intelligence level are you at?
How about only being able to use cash to buy techs as an option instead of none?Seriously,no tech trading is a dumb idea, not dumb for the developers to give some gamers an option to nerf it,but dumb if you really want a challenge from the computer AI's who are already hampered by the nature of computer AI.Diplomacy could make up for a low tech racial ability but not with no tech trading. And it sort of guts diplomacy in general.Everything in this game i
I had it that when I first set it on the tile it said never, but when I clicked on it again,it gave the proper time.Wonder if it is because of the difference in economy computation.
The AI does not size the components to fit the size of their hulls,or at least the ones I have noticed.
I've never been able to just mash the turn button and have my economy magically start piling in money. What is your secret? The fun thing about htis game is the dynamic starting point.Who got the best real estate?Who is my neighbor? How powerful are they going to be?How far away from me are they? There are alignments and things that keep you on your toes especially at the higher difficulties. it is fun when you start getting your economy in orde
Dear Ambassador Darth:Thank you for the gift of the Starfurys, however our local high school said that they studied ancient ship technologies in junior high.
This kind of shows me that tech trading really smoothed out the difference in racial traits from a bonus research race to an average or poor research race. You could equalize it with a high diplomacy skill for another race.Add a race with a high morality skill and research bonus and it would be seriously lopsided. It seems you may have to adjust the native traits of the races to equalize this out somehow.Tech skill may become too important without tech t
and boy was it fun,all allied to everyone but Iconians and Drengin. The Iconians succumbed to the the bug guys while I had enough money to keep the Drengin off my tail. I had everything diplomatic you could think of.Diplo tech as far as possible,Showcase planet special, diplomatic translators. With all of that everybody had thier price to ally with me.finally I gave the Drengin 9,000 BC and they allied. I had trade with everyone
-to be able to defend non military bases and freighters like planets,by parking a ship beside them.it would cut down on micromanagement. In fact I would cut way down on military modules for non military bases. To be able to escort your freighters. -To be able to change a tile from one special to the other for a cost, without having to decomission the first building.Especially when you can't go back to low cost factories or upgrades later on. -t
All nations at war were voted to pay 20% of economy to other nations.I didn't start this war.I am defending my homeland.
You need, for now, to rename the file that you want to stick in the music folder to one of the files that are already in the music folder.
