- Has it never bothered you playing space 4x that you don't need to resupply and fuel your fleets? This has ALWAYS bothered me in these kind of games and SotS and Space Empires are the only titles that address this.
Totally agree here. Remember playing vga planets back in the day which also had this feature. I'm quite enjoying the game so far. I kinda freaked out when I first started but did a couple of days

The tech is called space mining I,II&III and is researchable from the xeno engineering/logistics branch. To upgrade the bases you just set your space miner ship to the asteroid and click/right click improve.
I think it's probably intentional like automating anomaly searching. Woot another fellow Aussie
Some countries have what are called public holidays where people don't go to work. For example in Australia we have the Queens Birthday, Anzac Day, Australia Day, Melbourne Cup Day, New Years, Good Friday, the list goes on. At least you don't have to speak to Indians you can barely understand when you do finally get through to support. Judging from your me, me, me attitude and your use of grammar in your most recent post I would have to agree with Feud's sentiments. When you email support yo
2. *snip* (look to the aged VGA Planet 'VCR' for what I mean Now that's a great idea from another old time player. TBS fav link post #44 For GC3 maybe.
It only took me a day to get my account sorted and merged after finally purchasing it, by emailing support with my serial no and receipt info and giving them as much info as possible, so don't despair just yet, it's a game worth a bit of a hassle initially registering. Make sure you've checked the stickied post re problems registering/activation in the paragraph numbered 5.
I noticed this a few weeks ago as well. My upgrade cost bug post In my current 1.5x3 slow tech game upgrading virtually every basic factory to a manufacturing factory is cheaper than upgrading from a factory/enhanced to manufacturing factory. Same with upgrading market centers and going straight to stock markets is cheaper than upgrading from a higher class market to a stock market. Also going from xeno farmi
I get that flickering as well in those same two spots using an 8800GTS on XP with a C2D. I've just noticed also on the invasion screens sometimes it plays through in a freaky purple, blue, red or green colour, is this intended based on planet type or a bug. I don't get the BSOD though so that's probably one of those vista driver things.
Re P.S: I thought most D&D RPG games that were chaotic evil was more evil than just lawful evil as doing any and every evil act for the sake of it is considered chaotic whereas doing evil acts occasionally based on the circumstances would be more leaning towards lawful evil. Was the slider to the far right when you posted the score. It can happen quickly without realising it with a few favourable colonisation events(+40% PQ / +60% starship bonuses). It can be modified by researching xeno eth
What happens if you create another metaverse game just to test your login password. Does it work then or are you still getting kicked in the knackers. Also if you're running an ip blocker for p2p stuff you'll need to exclude the following range. 066.028.242.000 - 066.028.242.255
SBs need to be repairable: As far as I know (and I could be wrong) SBs don’t heal themselves. At least if they do, its so slow that I have yet to notice. A SB should, at a minimum repair itself or allow a constructor do the job. Agreed. The repair rate at present to dismal to say the least. It should reflect the repair rate %. What's the point of having 40% repair rate if starbases only repair 1 hp per turn. In my last 1.4 DL Yor game it seemed t
While were on the topic has the Privateer trade good been fixed in DA so the enemy doesn't futilely waste its time trying to kill unkillable ships? It's gonna be another couple of days in my current game of cheese(700% manuf tile on homeworld) before I get enemies capable of attacking me. Galactic Privateer Bug Post
2. Agreed, researching sensor techs should slightly increase the sensor radius around planets IMO.
The Krynn is a world of magic and war, full of all sorts of weird and wonderful creatures(D&D types) and dangerous reptilian beasts. It's a place where Kenders like me roam free and get into all sorts of mischief. It just so happens to be my favourite race with the default traits except for the sucky super ability.
I've forgotten how to turn off the auto updates of planetary improvements after researching new planetary building techs. Any advice? Ta.
It does have the Prt Scrn key but if you've got a stupid microshaft keyboard like me you usually have to press the F Lock key first to toggle off the microsoft function keys and turn on the conventional F/PrtScn/Pause keys. Cheers.
Another possible scenario is if you have the creative ability you might also get a couple of extra techs in the trade if that's a spin off of 'researching' / discovering techs.
Did you accidentally click on the old buildings tab on the middle right of the planet screen. There should be one just to the left of it showing your available new buildings. Just upload the savegame to rapidshare/sendspace/megaupload etc and post the link here somewhere. Cheers.
I'm having a problem with upgrading costs of buildings on a couple of my planets. I'm playing Krynn on super slow tech. Eg: upgrading an advanced market center to a banking center can cost less than upgrading from a trade center to banking center depending on the planet and where the tile is located. Also upgrading factories has the same screwey results, seemingly randomly costing more for upgrading a factory to an enhanced factory/manuf. center than upgrading a basic factory to an enhanced f
Do you have the game installed on the first/same partition as the boot drive, as putting it on a separate partition on the boot drive can make videos in any game a bit choppy unless it's on a secondary HD which is what I do to keep my system drive nice and tidy.
DA 1.50 bugs: \When colonizing worlds and getting the Influence bonus event it doesn't show up in the planet info page or the civilization info tab and the Planetary Defense bonus doesn't show up in the planet info page. Also when a couple of my many agents are killed it's not displayed when the turn button is pressed until an entire turn later.
I've just found a super cool new race for me (Krynn ) and was wondering if having a super duper defence affects XP gains. eg: 80% defence for my starbases/ships is XP calculated based on the starbase/ships base defence value or the modified value after bonuses are applied, thanks. Also does defence improve my planetary defence against planetary invasion attempts by other races? Sorry bout bringing up
After ~18-20 billion ppl morale drops exponentially so I never bother growing my worlds above this as it only affects growth rate on other worlds when trying to maintain 100% happiness.
Yep you can set up multiple trade routes between the same planets.
I think 1337 is geek talk for leet or elite.
