Yes, there was, and it was bloody as heck. But, that was the new fighting style, and a wake-up call to the world.

This sounds great! also, someine should start it up, announce the conditions in the forum, and anyone who wants to join responds in the time limit. Then, after the game, you post stats, not scores, and gain awards for things other than just victories, like "Most Wins" or "Most Humiliating Defeat" LOL
True, I forgot about that. Thought you were saying the storyline was Tolkeinish, and now that I think about it, it is in a way LOL.
"Wow, a lot of Tolkien in here." WTH???!!?!?!?!?! I love Tolkein, and this is WAY different!
"Gaia was another name for Earth" It also means a living planet. I found that one, too. It might be different for you, but the planet was rated 30 on my game. ;)
I agree. The backstory needs to be published and released to the masses. This kind of stuff is what gets many people (such as myself LOL ) to buy strat games like GalCiv. THIS NEEDS TO BE RELEASED! PLEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree with you, vermeister2u. Free speech does not encompass fan base effects of that right. They need to take what they get if that is what they really think. Goot zo! Goot zo! (Sorry 'bout the Dutch, but that's my second language, and I use it more than English :) )
LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL
"I'm a Titarean! Mind tricks don'ta work on meh, onnly money........." ;)
Thanx for the tips, guys. I have almost all the Civ games, so if what you're saying about it being alot like Civ 3 is true, then it shouldn't be too hard for me to get the overall game play. It was actually Moo2 that tripped me up at first. But I shouldn't have much problems with aliens. I focus heavily on Diplomacy in all my games. I get 3 or 4 Alliances set up, then sit back and work. If someone asks me to go to war, I accept, then, as sone as possible, I make peace between both the aliens. Wh
I think this is a good question, because if I get Assault Shuttles & Stellar Converters like in MOO2, I'll be unbeatable! :D
What do you mean there are few tactical options!!???? There are a whole buttload of options. Say, you want to attack a system. You have to be careful and plan your assault well before you attack, because, at least in Civ, the AI is ruthless, and will exploit every opportunity. End of story.
I agree. 98 has never crashed on me. The games have crashed, but never 98. On the other hand, XP crashed on me 2000 times in the first three weeks of having bought a new computer. I say, 98 is better because it is more stable than the others, has DOS, and runs just about anything. End of story.
I agree. just use 98. Or, better yet, go find a cheap, ancient computer, say 133 or something, and MOO will run fine. ")>
I agree with most of you, even though I voted for using 3D graphics. I beleive that a game doesn't have to have flashy graphics to be a good game. It's the programing, replayability, and gameplay that make the game, while the graphics are secondary. I hate all these people who are saying that "if the game don't have graphics, it ain't a game." :VOMIT: Obviously, these people are new gamers. for years, the only types of games were text-based adventures, and then when graphics came out they were
