Just a quick heads-up, don't know if anyone else has been having this problem, but here's how I got around it. I've been using ObjectDock for a while now, and I'm very happy with it. The only problem I've run into is getting it to start up automatically, but only for me (my wife doesn't like the program, sorry). Enabling the option to start automatically in the program itself put an OD icon in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Startup, and when I moved it to my Startup fold

I was having this problem as well, and also the fact that it would automatically run the program for any user on my PC (and my wife didn't like having it show up on her side). I got sick of trying to get it to run properly at startup, so I just put an icon for it on my Taskbar Quicklaunch, and it's just on extra click when I log in to get everything the way I want it. -- Ben

I have an ATI 9550 (older card, but still plenty of life left in it), OD has been working fine for me. It may be specific to the card. The issue doesn't happen at all if OD isn't running? -- Ben

I was having issues with getting Logonstudio to randomize as well, but then I happened to notice Logonstudio coming up when people posting their HijackThis logs, so I ran HijackThis on my PC, and noticed that Logonstudio had not added the line to my startup, so I created a shortcut in my Startup menu, and everything seems to be hunky-dory now. I'm here. The issue is the seemingly wacky way that OD sets itself up to run at startup. So far I've noticed that whenever you check "Run at startup", several things happen: 1. The OD icon is created in All Users\Start Menu\Startup, 2. Two items are added to MSConfig's Startup list: one under "Startup" and one under "Common Startup". One would think that any one of these would be sufficient to load the program auto

The only place it seems to want to run at startup is from is All Users\Start Menu\Startup. At the moment, both my and my wife's startup folders are empty. If I put the icon in my startup folder, it refuses to run automatically. --Ben

Hi all, first time poster. I'm using the free version of OD on an XP Home machine. My wife doesn't like the program. Is there a way to get it to only run for one XP login? If I move the icon from the All Users startup folder to my startup folder (ie: from C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Startup to C:\Documents and Settings\[my name]\Start Menu\Startup), it doesn't run at all.
