OD and ATI do not mix?

i upgraded my video card to a ati 1900xtx and installed the newest driver. now if i have OD ruining and Chang the settings like anti aliasing it shuts my monitor off or shuts of the video to the monitor. any way to stop this from happening? it seems to work with the older drivers that came on the ati CD. will not work with omega drivers and ati tray tool will also cause the problem.

I have an ATI 9550 (older card, but still plenty of life left in it), OD has been working fine for me. It may be specific to the card. The issue doesn't happen at all if OD isn't running?

ATI 9700 pro here...no problems whatsoever. Well, outside of dual monitor issues - but even those are minor...
Have you tried changing the settings to whatever you want them to be, and THEN starting OD?

Just to clarify...do you mean when you change video card settings, or OD settings? What version of OD?

I have an Ati radeon x1600 and I have also a problem with OD 1.3 when ati tray tool is installed ...when I right click on my dock for settings , OD crash .After removing ati tray tool, all become normal

looks like reinstalling all my drivers for video and all my stardock software fixed all the problems i was haveing with my stardock apps. guess we will never know what caused it.
