note: ideazon uses the word 'mod' also, so this would be a mod, or profile, for the fang, not a mod for gcii per se.

just picked up one of these controllers for wow, and i want to start binding gcii buttons to its keys. without keybinding functions in gcii, though, i'm going to have to assign mouseclicks to the keypad. so far i can't figure out how to do this with the fang software or windows xp, so i'm going to have to use a third party macro program. trouble is, i have a sneaking suspicion that the macro program would get me flagged and banned as a botter in wow. any input?
you can press f to turn a stack into a fleet; works for single ships too
i'd say that it is not the word that is subjective. indeed, lacking true agency, words cannot have subjectivity. this is message board cheese if i ever saw it i think i know which thread put G-dubya over the edge: a newbie was looking for some
wierd thing is i got a bunch of crashes after first upgrading to the latest ati omega drivers (old drivers were dated 12/05,) then after a couple days there are no more crashes... wierd.
well i, for one, think that good should be penalized economically for "doing the right thing," or not choosing the most exploitative course of action. if choosing to act righteously also happened to provide the biggest benefit to society, then there would be no moral dilemma, and all societies would choose it, good, neutral, or evil.
I guess I'm having a difficult time figuring out the economics of the game. Trying to keep taxes low enough while still having a positive cash flow has eluded me. I turned off taxes for a while in the game that my population went to 0. Didn't make a difference. Now I have money but my planets won't build any ships. all of your colonies will
would it be possible to use desktopx to bind keys to buttons? or perhaps add a button to the colony/transport launch window for 1 passenger?
i guess we know what mumble was focused on! you might want to count them again...
not trying to complicate things, but... you actually have to pick TWO avatars for this site: one for the forums, and another for your profile page. click on my name and go to profile page where i put a pic of my gorgeous wife.... yeah wife, that's it... that's the ticket.
i think it was just yor imagination... get it? eh? wakka wakka wakka
hey just curious.... how does this work out when (either the first or) the second pc has two monitors?
in DA i'm using a custom race with +40 def, +20 weapons, and +50% luck. with the race/party bonuses, an old def roll of 1-10 becomes a roll of 7-14. paired with the superwarrior ability i'm really looking forward to large fleet battles, and trying to guide this game along into some major confrontations. however, i just downloaded the expansion and haven't played past the opening yet, so it will be fun to see how the AI messes with my evil plan...
& FC you are most welcome. fc = fer chrissakes?
i was pressing random keys trying to find a shortcut for 'next planet' on the planet details screen... i pressed ctrl-n reloaded and must've lost only 2 turns.
the problem might be that i'm unloadin desktopx without saving the object(?) first... haven't tried yet though
both. and i'm not running smart exeption... ...but i did find those desktopx 3.0 videos i downloaded last december ^^ and i'm watching them now...
so i installed desktopx and was gonna play around with it a little bit. found the planet details screen and simply moved the 'back to planet' button over next to the 'cancel' button, then slid that bar out of the way. the game crashes while loading a game unless i go back to the original screen. before you ask... no i haven't read the modding guide i did search
I think you would lose the 4B transport, but retain the 1B transport. I usually use 2B transports. If I have 2 in a fleet, and I lose 2B in battle, they will both be lost and I will end up with 2B on the planet. If I lose 1.99B, I will retain one 2B transport and have .01B on the planet. So if you lost exactly 1B using a 1B and a 4B, you would retain t
i've been having good luck with the following method, up to (and including) painful difficulty: set taxes to 49% and spending to 100%; pop growth is managable, econ is healthy set military/social/tech spending to 26/25/49 research the techs that give empire-wide production/morale/econ bonuses first; large+ galaxies, get sensors and build 1 or 2 more (custom) survey ships to find those big planets, resources, and 2500bc anomolies. design a new colony ship with
no, YOU'RE money, mumble.
most people (including me) probably cannot see the blue circle representing the spher of influence of constructors. You need 2 constructors when deploying a station. put two constructors where you think the station should go, then select both constructors - Yes! now you can see the blue circle. that is a great trick... if you've got two
bump ^^
i've found that the higher the difficulty, the harder it is to flip planets. which difficulty are you playing? edit: whoops i didn't see i was in teh da forum... i know nothing...
