I had Ultradrive in my last game. It's not a research, it's a galactic event. Constructors with 140 moves... ah, the memories. No, I did not have Creative.

I've noticed what I think is a bug regarding Huge vessels and miniaturization. In my current game, I have a 170ish Huge hull, and a Mass Driver, which is stated to have a size of 12, only has a size of 6. BUT! It requires 12 places to be placed. Since there are no items smaller than 5, I always have about 4 excess points. Why is this happening?
Regardless of how it's doable, why do it at all? As I said, in many universes fighters simply can't lug effective weapons. In GC2, tiny and huge ships mount different numbers of the same guns. If you're going to make 'grain of sand' style fighters, what will they mount? A laser-1 0.001 beam? What's the bloody good of that? Seriously. Fighters (and carriers) are
Provided I am not at war or threatning them, I can buy most things with Alliances. I think that's the best bet for one-shot trades, as it is cheap, and you get it early, but doesn't make anyone too powerful.
Incredible! I had the exact same idea 2 days ago while designing a huge ship and turning it into something resembling an aircraft carrier, but in space. Put him in a fleet together with 20 tiny ships. Then, this came to me: Carrier Logistics Center Size: 45 Cost: 450 All Small and Tiny vessels in the same fleet as the vessel that has this upgrade share that vessel's support and propulsion systems. Would be great, no?
All but 1 can be unloaded. Go to the nearest planet, launch the ship by moving the slider to 0, then click on the arrow to set it at 1.
On high-class planets, I build 1 farming, 1 economy, 1 happiness building, no matter what I plan to do with it later. Any peole who decide they're too good for their own planet get shipped off to the next planet. In a military troop transport for 10000 men. Works wonders
In my current game, I have 4 class 18+ planets that have only NLCs. ONLY NLCs, nothing except for those. So one turn I click to research Beam Weapon Theory and BAM! Goes all the way to Phasors III. Same thing happened with missles and cannons(the tech before Photonic Torps and Mass Driver II). Luck and Creativity have nothing to do with it. I played an Altarian game once with Luck, and recieved 5 Precursor Corvettes after mabe a dozen turns. I wish I stayed with that game to see what
Kill it. Kill it for good. I especially HATE it when in the later game I have about 15 planets churning invasion vessels, and every time I launch one, I get teleported seven systems away to look at some patrol ship/constructor/xyz. Then, I have to go find that invader... which means, I need to zoom in closer(I play at max possible distance that doesn't show the icons yet).
I searched around a bit, and I'm surprised that noone has had this idea yet. In most my games, when I build battleships, I always build one Huge ship that I ALWAYS upgrade to the current technological maximums and battlefield(battlespace?) situations, to make sure it's the best ship in the universe. So what I'd like to ask is this: How much of an effort would it be to make a mod including 1 new technology research(Supreme Hulls) and one more hull(Gigantic) but with the restriction of
