I had expected to find a Demo button in my SDC interface. Neither I like to give my data to websites. Hope you'll add it to SDC.

I have loved to play online Axis & Allies with no online support but email. That game is a clear win for Allies but online we choose who had to get the Axis by betting. It was like: "I want xy additional points to get Axis". Lower bid was the winner, ties by die roll. A similar solution could work for unbalanced "by design" multiplayer games.
Have a P4 1GB and 64M card supporting directX 9. Do you think it can work? How good? It's just a matter of resolution or will have smoothness problems? I could try it if you had a demo... please.

I have made a custom race but I don't get the standard ships listed anywhere. Guess someone forgot to link the basic ships to the custom race. BTW, I selected altarian looking ships for my custom race.

Somehow defence technologies should be enhanced for both ships and starbases. Right now I do not research defensive technologies. I think this way we are taking out one alternative strategy. Also... All defences should be efficent for all 3 types of attack even if more marginally. I've seen that the AI very unfrequently trade planets. I'd like that to be made more feasible in a 1:1 matter with the diplomatic power leveraging only the planet quality and/or current buildings. Population would be moved swapped. Possibly some time should pass between swap deal and actuation. In addition I'd like to trade 1:1 - mines - starbases with same considerations made above. This would ease situations where it would beneficial to swap them in a mutual advantage.

I'd like to add one additional level before alliance called Partnership. It would be sharing of astronomical data like stars, planets, and so on. Basically would mean that I see what my partner ships see. Could be stopped with 1 year notice or war obviously. Should be very simple to code in the AI compared to others.

Before building a starbase I'd like to check what squares will be influenced. The round circle is nice but fuels missunderstandings. Can you add a trigger that highlights the affected squares given the position of a constructor?
Ships on autoexplore/autopilot (miners, freighter, scouts) should stay away from your enemy controlled space and ships. The later could be harder to be coded. This would include established freighter lines. They should turn around enemy space if possible. A penalty would apply to the route.
In the old times you could tell governors to build a sequence. I'd like that brought back. Obviously using tiles bonuses appropriately.
On general screen, click on ship, manage, add a button to give/ask that ship to a race, this opens the diplomatic interface with the ship already in the bottom left/right. Same from diplomatic interface: give/ask ship, reverts to general screen, select multiple ships, get back to diplomacy. Same bahaviour for giving/getting planets.
Doom ray is way much too powerfull (22!!!) Since there is no first strike in battles, any ship with doom ray mutually annihhilates any other ship even if we compare medium with huge. Looks like the old antimatter missile... but this time there is no way to prevent it. Attacking is futile. Had to develop similar ships and they annihilate each other. Didn't check if other attack technologies have the same issue

Have played terrans and altarians. The later much more difficult on economy. I went bankrupt few times. I never push taxation bejond 39%. Research trade and increase economy. Money is really a problem now and you have to carefully balance it with expansion. Never buy with lease and hope for some lucky shot with the flagship. I can agree that now is a little too much about economics.
The same is true for military assist modules...
