Another vote for adding some MOO2 type Space Monster Anomalies to spice things up in ToTA, with categorical control to toggle specific MegaEvent category types (such as type 12) On/Of in the Options screen. Thanks for a great game Stardock, you guys rock!

Thanks Drakcooper, that is what I was asking. I researched Space Weapons a long time ago. It was unclear to me how my Focus settings would appear in the game, so I will continue to research new stuff and wait for new ship designs to "pop"up. Thanks again.

Can someone please explain the use of the "Ship Design Focus"? I set the sliders and click done, but no further screens are displayed and no new designs appear. I am not sure what else I need to do to generate a new design based on the slider settings, or I don't know where to look if something is being generated. Thanks in advance.

Do any tech tree maps exist that show the custom tech trees for each of the TOTA civilizations? I am doing something wrong using the forum search function, and get 0 hits back even if I just search for the word "tech". Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Thanks Mumblefratz, I guess I didn't realize there was an "economic starbase", I thought I was accomplishing that by using my constructor to create a mining starbase to harvest an economic resource. I'll have to look into it further to understand the difference. I did go thru all of the tutorials and the game manual looking for this (and a lot of other) info, and have only been able to find answers from fine resources on the forum such as yourself. Thanks again.

I am running DA. I have a mining starbase which is mining an economic resource. When I select the mining starbase, no circle appears no matter how far back I zoom the view. I did see this circle when I selected my constructor that built the starbase, but ever since I built the starbase I can not see the area of influence it effects. I want to make sure that my trade routes are running thru this area for the supposed added economic bonus, but I'm not able too see it. I didn't see any opti

Is there a bug or oversite with the sort for the Planet List - Unowned - Habitable view? I use this screen often to determine the best candidate planet to send my next colonizer to based on class and haibiability, but the planets do not appear to be displayed with the most habitable choice for my race on top. Instead I get a bunch of uninhabitable planets first, and have to scoll down the list to find the best choices. I guess it is sorted by habitable category, but would really appreci

Wow, quick response on this question, thanks for the help. Can't find any way to break my existing Econmic Treaty, sounds like I need to declare war on that race to break it. Seems like there should be a way to break a treaty without having to decalre war. Thanks again!

Can someone please clue me in as to what I need to research / why I do not have the Economic Treaty option available on on my diplomacy screen when speaking with another race so I can include it in an offer? I was hoping to use it in an offer of a two-way economic treaty, but it only appears as an option for the other race, not my own. Thank you

Yes, Terenin is correct, I am using the "Habitable" view to (wishfully) sort the "Unowned" planets by Habitability. In MOO2, you could do a similar query and the planets at the top of the list were the most desireable to colonize, making it MUCH easier to determine where to send that next colonizer. Thanks for the response gang, I hope someone from Stardock reads this. I have already ordered the next expansion, maybe this will be implemnted in there.

What good is upgrading a ship design if all it does is pick the same hull and you have to re-select all of the components? In Space Empires IV & V, when you upgrade a design, all of the existing componenrs in the design are automatically upgraded to their most current counterpart, which is what I want to do anyway 90% of the time.
