Yes when I bought it, I thought it was ONLY the Diplomacy DLC. Turns out to have been a nice mistake. Thanks again.

Thanks for all the answers gents. Yeah I bought Trinity on Steam a while ago but didn't realize it was kind of a "combo" and not DLC for the original (isn't how Trinity first came out?). Sometimes trying to sort out all the "which version has what" DLC's is a mess on Steam. I learned that the hard way when trying to put together all various Europa Universalis & Hearts of Iron offerings off of Steam. Finally, I just decided to wait till they offer
So basically I have to buy the game a 2nd time? And the version I CAN buy already has the 2 DLC's that I bought off Steam previously? I've bought a ton of stuff from Stardock over the years. I feel like I'm being "gouged" when I don't even get a discounted option to have the game available to me via Steam. I have the original game + entrenchment on my account here at Stardock...and 2 DLC's on Steam that were waiting for a happy joining of the whol
I bought the game when it first came out...loved it well and burnt out on it. Over the years I have become a Steam user, and now want to reinstall my original SoaE and DLC from within the Steam ecosystem. I also bought some DLC within Steam already (I knew I'd come back to this game over and over). So I want all these bits and pieces managed under one Steam umbrella. Where do I find the keys for Steam (I'm assuming they are different from the Stardock ones)
Howdy Folks, I bought the Map pack DLC long ago and now want to have it updated with my Steam account for FE. For some reason, it didn't "just happen" when I reinstalled the game off my Steam Account. Any info will be appreciated! jfp3
Having tamed my first beast, and seeing how awesome they are -- especially early game -- I hope we get someone to mod in the ability for us to give them armor. Skeptical? This should help convince you
This isn't the only tool tip that needs some elaboration. -- Like a mention that of the fact that you can have all the horses in the world, but with out Leatherworking, you can't build Horsemen. (Should be listed with "Enables: ..." ) -- Or that when you have "Propaganda" active in a city, but taxes set to zero, you won't get any gold for the spell. (What good is "magic" gold that still has to be plucked from a hapless middle-class through taxati
Thanks for the response. Yes I needed Leatherworking also -- would be nice if it was mentioned in the unit description.
I have a Fort with a Ranch, and some 15 horses already produced. The proper research has been done but I still don't have Horsemen showing up in my training options. What am I missing?
The title says it all. Can it be done?
My thought was that since propaganda is one of the only spells you can cast on Season 1, well it's meant to help you kick start your first cities with an accompany-ing zero tax rate. Also to help you avoid building the pioneer killing cleric or bell towers. The one makes them quake at leaving the city, other homesick when they don't hear the familiar "dong" on their journey into the wildlands. Besides...Essence flows in fountains behind the Palace Outhouse, where m

Great game, so much promise. Congrats to Stardock on getting it right on this inevitable classic. Bug: I started the game by setting my taxes to zero, and using a the city spell Propaganda to generate extra income to cover. However, when the taxes are set to zero, the gold isn't incoming. I didn't realize this till after several turns of playing. Seems to me that this might be meant to happen when taxes are set to zero, but perhaps not so I ment
While I win most of my games on Challenging, my playstyle is too different from how most people play, so my advice would probably not work for you.
Ok Guanathor I'll bite. What is the gist of your unique gameplay style for FE?
Custom tactical deployment is the only way to go with this game. If someone doesn't have the patience for it, they can just auto-resolve, (have fun with that).
Does anyone else have an issue with units that are able to move NOT showing up in the movement cycles? These are not units that are in sleep mode either. I have units that seem to be getting skipped in the cycle randomly. I've had to turn off the auto-next option to be sure I'm not missing any units at this point.
Yeah I found nothing in the Hiergamenon either, nor googling. I thought maybe something to do with the coloring of the items was the key. Oh well, can always save and reload before using an item as well. Just sucked when I found out that I could have had my Sand Golem active for many turns before I tried it because I thought it was for a single battle. Restarted my game because of that.
Probably a dumb question, but how does one recognize certain items to be "one time use" and others that are "for the duration of the game". For instance...I quaffed a couple of potions that I thought were going to add to my stats permanently, but they were only "one time use" and I couldn't tell from the description, so they were wasted. Is there a bulk list out there (like the spells .pdf) which gives this kind of info? Thanks for the help!
Returning player with the release of FE. Lovin' it so far about 30 turns into my first game. Q: When i produce a Pioneer, does it consume population from the originating city? Thanks!
Well it's "kinda" windowed, this will do for now....nice to try this classic once again...
Thank you Kryo....this seemed to work. I changed nothing except the "Fullscreen" to 0. Does this mean I can't play it windowd in a larger res for the game?

Greets All, Bought this a while ago, but just installed last night to give it a try. Unfortunately using the launcher crashes the game right away (yes with Admin rights). I could start Dread Lords directly from it's own directory (again as Admin), but Twilight crashes when I try to start it the same way (without the launcher, and as Admin). Any quick ideas on what to try next? Thanks for the help Gents! <p
