GOOD NEWS! Once I deleted the files in docs/Gc2twilighnightarnor / shipstyles,ship pics,ships ,shiptemplates, reloaded gorn,fed klingon,romulin files everything works perfectly!!!! I must have dumped the 1st fed version in before but I don't remember. Best mod yet Ronin

Well there are no tiny ships, freighters, or spore ships in this pack. No? I have a nice freighter S-000. Have to find a hoster to show you a screen dump.

let me clarify my situation. The Fed pack on the 1st turn in shipyard lists all the ships in the pack minus the pictures. The others start of with just the ships I have technology for with the ship pictures. Love your work. Lately I have been getting lazy with my primary ship being a flying saucer or a cube. Maybe its time to delete all galactic civilizations files and reload again from the beginning!

could be but it works fine with crysis, unreal, Quake wars and other stress tests like 3d mark

I'm running 2 geforce 8800's in sli with nhancer, latest drivers etc .... When I crash the whole game goes kinda CGA if any of you remember what that is. I'm good enough to know where the save game and exit is but sometime I have to cold restart my whole machine, something I;d rather not do. Oh and turning off sli doesn't seem to help and hardware mouse cursor is on. XP home. Ack, I use 1 turn autosave and quicksave is my friend. Gotta say the game is looking sharper every patch!

I've had the "oh no ... my old games don't work anymore" what I have been doing lately is to copy the whole arnor directory lately and running them from the exe. file. It mostly works.

yea i did this before i loaded the whole thing. I checked it for virus ( mfc71.zip) after it ctd but it came up clean. I tried a new game an played for about 3 hours without a ctd. I will reload that file if I plan to use the editor ,but the patch will come out probly before that. Oh btw I got hit with a virus last week .... I lay in bed fot a week. I'm glad they sent this out regardless. Way to go STARDOCK !

I had problems too. CTD without any message. BUT.. it only seems to happen when I use saved games from a previous version. I even reloaded arnor. Time to clean out my old saved games I guess.

nuff said. As at best I can only produce 1 spy per turn this is a major PIA ! Any ideas? I suppose I could keep playing but wow............ BTW Human, challenging, end game , at this point I would probly still win. Hmmmm............

Hey its working for me but then I always copy the Arnor directory ,erase the old one and update. The one time it messed up I just played the old dir till the download was fixed. :HOT:

wish I could now as it seems to lock up my machine solid. Need a cold boot to get back into xp. Running in full screen 1280 by 1024. The game I/m running is huge ,full opponents, no minors and on challenging. We are all preety teched out so there is alot going on. I suppose I could try turning off the SLI and going down on the video details. Good thing I have Acronis as these cold starts are getting me nervous!

:CONGRAT: Every new version gets better. As long as I set the autosave to 1 that is. No more hanging but the screen goes ba-loooey(kind of like cga graphics) I have to alt-tab out ,close it in task manager and then if I want to go back in or use just about any other program I have to reset it. Well I made a nice little sandbox for me. OK , how do I bring it up? I copied it into the custom map dir in twilight, no go. In fact no scenarios, no maps and I am unable to even make a custom race. Am I just not getting something? BTW good job Stardock, its not crashing as much but those invisible ships are killing me. yes they are invisible but I just chase the fleet numbers! I was wondering about those super stealth super dominators though. Thought they were precurser ships!

I have been stuck too(a big fleet with a Ranger!). Mostly I find I have to use another ship to destroy all the minning colonies in that astroid belt before I could get lose. One time I had to declare war which had the neutral ground rule.

well I have been playing all day for the last 2 . I use quick save allot. It froze once as human when I acquired a tech which slips my mind at the moment. As to the AI knowing I'm winning and crashing it happens when I'm in a large map, I'm using 3 opponents. No minor races as they give very high end techs to my opponents. And I have em by the short hairs! Once again quick save allot. Today I was having graphic weirdness with the screen seeming to simulate 4 bit color which I have to alt tab an

I have been trying to do a clean reinstall. I had loaded some mods (hi-res sharper mini map and the star trek mod) and suddenly I had a lot of CTD's. I have reloaded 4 times each time deleting all total gaming and GCII files and folders but I still find traces of the mods in the new install (like a Vulcan mini race!) sip designs ect. Oddly enough all my option settings are still the same as before I reinstalled. What am I doing wrong? Oh btw xp home nvidea geforce 78
