So when you settle a new planet you sometimes get an ethical choice where you get a bonus of some kind if you pick the evil option. What does the "Starship" bonus give you?
I haven't had that event before, ouch that has got to suck!
In both screenshots Income is larger than Expenses so he has positive income. Also the Treasury number is in orange indicating it is below zero but going up. I believe Kyro has given the official Stardock response. Debt is capped at -2000. If you get below -2000 by say upgrading too many ships, you will be automatically brought back to -2000 next turn. A helpful 'cheat' at the easier levels I guess...
The following is from https://www.galciv.wikia.com/wiki/Planetary_improvement_strategies I find specialization to be *EXTREMELY* useful. I am playing on "gigantic" sized galaxies, but it applies to medium or better; basically on any setting where you expect to grab several decent planets. First, consider economics. A good economics planet needs 3 types of improvements: farms for population and tax
The starship bonus is for that planet only as it was in GalCiv1 I am assuming
Good to know I am not a Not-So-SmartException and that the UI does indeed not work.
