I really "groove" when you talk the talk in the betas. As far as a bug, the only thing I could even hazard a guess on is that I do not see a tech being researched. So basically, I am clueless, as usual. So much for being a "Font of worthless knowledge." - as quoted by Cherene Straykat. W/R Suralle Straykat Kat Lord @ Large

Currently dusting off my first editions and moving them up on a more prominent shelf in my small but packed library. I am sure that Mr. Gygax is hosting many sessions of gaming with numerous "Deities & Demigods" in what ever realm he has landed. Fair winds and following seas. W/R Suralle Straykat Kat Lord @ Large
How about applying a little bit of that Luck code to giving some bonus tiles out when you terraform a planet? 10% Lucky - 10% chance of a nice little research / industrial / etc etc bonus. Or reverse it even - hahaha - "While one of your robotic farmers was upgrading the sald ponds an ancient fault was detected that reversed a major river and "10%" of your planets tiles have subsided! Just a few kat like thoughts W/R Surall
Just keep going and going, as far as I can tell. Am I missing a key check somewhere that can tell me the health of my asteroid belts? I see prior to mining asteroids that there is a finite amount of resources. So I am assuming... that they can be used up in longer games, truth or still in the drawing stages? Enquiring Kats would like to know. W/R Suralle Straykat Kat Lord @ Large
Lately, I have seen quite a bit of the invisible ships, and have had to take the map out to the point where just "avatars" of constructors, freighters, colonizers... etc etc are to regain their "visibility". I have done a full reload, so hopefully that will fix the problem from the Stardock Total Gaming site. Will let you all know. W/R Suralle Straykat Kat Lord @ Large
So, What would be the correct way of involving the Feds or States in this issue is the real question? How much time and energy (therefore hard currency) would have to be spent? Will the end product justify the means (or cost for that matter)? Would bringing thousands of millions of "pirates" to justice help increase sales (or decrease the actual customer base)? Of course, maybe, someone smarter than I, with a marketing background in PC Gaming and Games could come up with
Strategy for Twilight varies by racial traits, selected abilities, and politics, what I will point out though is a few interesting ideas on how to start so that even if you do go into the red your back out in time to not get your tail ripped off in the upcoming free for all. Please remember that I typically play on immense or huge galaxy settings at tough and painfull, not suicide and maschistic. 1) Set tax slider to 40% if you have no morale bonus, higher if you do, as long as your po
Concur on the saving often, have shifted my save game to every 6 turns. Today though, I am going to test out the two brand new, just out of the box smell, 512 MB ram sticks I got. Hopefully, next bonus go around I can get an even better video card! Perhaps the ram will take care of some of the battle problems, although, I am thinking the video card will have to take care of that. Tally Ho! W/R Suralle Straykat Kat Lord @ Large
Thank you CariElf, Just made my weekend! W/R Suralle Straykat Kat Lord @ Large
There is always the trade options, however, the price for buying planets is usually cheaper from what I have seen. Given time though, and a little bit of earnest money and a few cheap ships on the new Straykat Lease / Loan Program, I can usually get another race to take care of the starbase in my space problem. When on Immense vice Gigantic , perhaps the "dark matter" area should be more thought of as the place stars used to be before the Arnor / Dread Lords wiped them out. We are "living" in the remnants of their galactic showdown right? Just a thought, W/R Suralle Straykat Kat Lord @ Large
Not unlike the Vegans last night achieving a "technology" victory just moments after coming on the scene before my Arcean transports could make the jump between my space and where their plant ended up being. Not that this stopped me from plundering their planet mind you, just had to go about winning the old fashioned way, last one standing. W/R Kat Lord Suralle Straykat
Thank you Carielf, Please make sure you take some time for Turkey and Lion's Football this week. W/R Suralle
Played the tournament game, "Between a Rock and a Hard Place". Critical path that I frequently blow off is Sensors, not here, lots of asteroids, lots of survey-type objects. So, once I had enough ships to stop the Drengin from taking advantage of me, I researched the entire sensor line and got two survey ships roaming around. I believe, that is the key in this play. Well worked for me anyways. First time I have ever watched the battle in Cinematic also, was mucho grande cool

Some races even practice the concept to a "next" level to the point of "recycling" component parts such as the Yor and even other races find the consumption of their loved ones (whether slavelin
AHH, now that explains alot of what I have been thinking lately. I bet that would fix the races that build their planets poorly also. Thanks again to you all. Wish I had a more leisurely schedule but this week is dedicated to "Cedars Point" as our 8 year old calls this park that we are at for our summer adventure. W/R Suralle Straykat Kat Lord @ Large
Heheh, well I can tell you this, game 56 was a bummer. I dropped about 40K. If I was really really bored I would look at this but you know whats really super... that the head developer stardockian actually answered alot of our questions. W/R Suralle Straykat Kat Lord @ Large
Well, I would love to hug at least one "stardockian", well maybe two. Thats it though, no more, if I have to hug another princess... oh yeah, well hugs all around. W/R Suralle Straykat Kat Lord @ Large
I believe the "Taranthional" er however it is spelled, gives the opener a slowly increased, production, research, military (both shipboard and soldering) capabilites. I suspect but have never proven that it also gives economic growth, however, by the time it can kick in, unless its damn early in the game this Kat has learned that the race that did it is now assigned the tag: Master 1...
