Drinks (is it a drink?) on me, my holiday starts today!

Actually the holiday I'm about to have is the longest I've had for 12 years. That's a good reason to exercise some cultured devouring of alcoholic beverages! Might even grab a yogurt on the way home...

considering it was good for a hangover, and that's it's a little thicker than what i'd call a drink... how about 'tincture'?

tinc·ture /ˈtɪŋktʃər/ [tingk-cher] –noun
1. Pharmacology. a solution of alcohol or of alcohol and water, containing animal, vegetable, or chemical drugs.

in some ways, gin was meant as a tincture.

heh, one of my mom's friends got me an xmas present a couple years ago, a zippo-style lighter that said: "GOD MADE POT, MAN MADE BEER, WHO DO YOU TRUST?"
